I bought this black version after I confirmed it uses the Cloudedge App, purely for aesthetics in the garden. This camera appears to be sold under different brand names, my first was a white one from iegeek but looked out of place hence sourcing this one.
Charged it fully originally and the solar panel has kept it mostly topped up, I suspect it will need to be charged by a charger over the winter as my solar panel isn’t in the best place.
Simple to use app.
Good quality item, easy to set-up with reasonable results. Solar panel to keep it charged is great.
All good except for the focus on the camera/lens, its a bit off, unfortunately.
Although good enough to identify the person just about, its not obvious unless you look hard. i.e. will be able to see if someone is at my car as such, but wouldn’t be able to recognise them in a line up!
But does the job as a deterrent I bought it for.
Great customer service
Installed it very easy to do to set it all up, got a faulty unit but they contacted me straight away, tried to sort it out for me item still faulty they sent me a new unit out within 2 days.
Fantastic customer service nothing to much trouble.
Tracking
Well the camera has been up now for some time great security response easy to set up great movement if I move it with app nice clear picture solar panel working to .
But for the life of me I can’t get it to track.
Perhaps I was wrong I could have sworn it tracks movement don’t get put of still nice camera works great.
Really happy and impressed with this camera. So easy to set up and picture quality is perfect. Well worth the money. This gives good coverage to rear of property and I shall be buying one for the front. The motion detection is great plus you get notifications. Sound quality isn’t to shabby, slightly tinney but does not compromise video audio playback. The solar charging is a bonus allowing to mount anywhere. First rate produc
Easy to install and setup, the battery is constantly charged during the day, even if not in direct sunlight.
I needed something that was totally wireless and I’m more than happy with this. I got it on offer and for the money, I don’t think anything comes close.
App has free option for cloud storage, also a paid option, or you can do as I did, and simply add an SD card.
The viewing app has never failed and seems to be ultra reliable.
Night light is very bright and doesn’t impact on battery life as much as I thought it would.
5/5 for me.
