Excellent quality
I got these to replace some general garden waste bags that were coming to the end of their life. We use our bags for general garden waste, leaves, pruning etc. nothing too heavyweight. These bags are really strong, and they stand upright by themselves once you have put the plastic rib through the top edge. You need to feed it through. This gives the top edge some rigidity and allows the bag to hold itself up. This makes it so much easier to fill in the garden. When pruning you can just toss each piece into the bag whilst it’s standing, without having it flopping about. Really good basic garden bags with strong handles, and a base handle which helps when tipping the bag over a wall etc at the dump.
Strong garden bags.
These bags are huge at 272 litres and they hold up to 50kg. We got them for collecting our garden waste. The plastic feels strong and there are two handles at the top and two at the bottom. The handles at the bottom help when emptying the bags. Inside the top rim of the bag there are two metal rings, this is so the plastic hoop ( provided) can be threaded through helping the bag to keep open. The bags are lightweight and can be stored flat when not in use.
The Garden Tidier You Didn't Know You Needed
Having a garden can be both a blessing and a chore, especially when it comes to tidying up. Enter these 3-pack garden waste bags, and my weekends have never been the same. Here’s how they stacked up for me:
Description:
As someone who loves pottering about in the garden, these bags have been a game-changer. They’re a whopping 272 litres each, which means you can get a lot of garden waste in them — think grass clippings, leaves, and branches. They’re sturdy and reusable, so no more flimsy bin bags that tear at the first sign of a twig.
The handles are a brilliant feature. There are two sets: one at the top for carrying and one at the bottom for tipping out the contents. It makes the whole process so much easier, especially when the bags are full and heavy. Despite their large size, they stand up well on their own, making filling them up a breeze.
Pros:
Massive capacity: Each bag holds up to 272 litres, so fewer trips to the compost heap.
Durable: Made from heavy-duty material that withstands the rough and tumble of garden work.
Reusable: Eco-friendly and saves you from buying disposable bags.
Convenient handles: Two sets of handles make carrying and emptying much easier.
Self-standing: Stays open and upright for easy filling.
Cons:
Storage: When not in use, they take up a bit of space unless you fold them flat.
Weight: They can get quite heavy when full, but that’s a testament to their capacity and durability.
Overall, these garden waste bags have been a fantastic addition to my gardening toolkit. They make tidying up so much easier and more efficient. Highly recommended for anyone who spends time keeping their garden in shape!
Good value and practical.
These garden waste bags have been so useful this summer! At 16 for a pack of three 272L bags, they’re a practical choice for keeping your garden tidy.
They’re a decent size and have held up well to all my summer trimming and weeding. One of the things I like most is that they have handles on both the top and bottom. This makes it so much easier to lift and empty the bags, especially when they’re full of heavy branches and debris.
Let’s be honest, they aren’t the most glamorous garden accessory, but they are functional. They’re strong, well-priced, and the handles make them a breeze to use. If you’re looking for a simple and effective solution for garden waste, I’d definitely recommend these.
Great bags for light garden waste
You get three bags in the pack. There’s a plastic, springy coil enclosed which you can thread through the top to keep the bag open. To be honest they worked just as well without it. They’re made of a fairly thick plastic material. Unlike the pictures in the listing they are not smooth containers but wrinkly bags but this doesn’t matter and doesn’t stop them being useful.
Much bigger than I was expecting even though the listing states 272l – it just didn’t convey the size.
We’ve been using old compost bags for our waste but were running low on them. We put these ones to use immediately as we were clearing weeds from the garden and they’re just great for light items.
Gets a bit bulky when full if you need to put it in the car. Each bag has a couple of loop handles on the bottom which helps when emptying.
Substantial garden waste bags
More useful than you might imagine and far better than messing around with black bags that are prone to tearing. These very substantial green waste bags (272 litre bags ordered) have a large opening (permanent plastic collar included – optional) making it easy to fill them from large receptacles such as lawnmower collection box. Made from a very strong plastic material that resists penetration by stems with two secure handles sewn well into the material. If you make frequent trips to recycling centre these make your life much easier due to the volume you can move at once with little danger any foliage will come in contact with your car. They are slightly over a fiver each but the number of uses you can potentially get from one bag is significant. Recommended product.
Essential for Any Gardene
The heavy-duty material is both durable and reusable, standing up to regular use without tearing. They are easy to fill and carry, thanks to the strong handles. Cleanup is a breeze with these.
Good sized strong and reusable garden waste bags x 3
These are good and strong reusable garden waste bags, the top handles are easy to hold and there’s also handles on the side of the bag near the base, this makes them even easier to pick up and empty.
You receive three bags which arrive vacuumed packed plus three coils of plastic strip. You place one strip inside the rim of each bag, this keeps them open, although if you leave those coils in place the bags don’t fold down flat as easily.
