Much more than expected
This was one of my better buys.
Quick delivery, really well packed.
Good quality, the handle was exceptional, segmented assembly, but simple. Very sturdy and allowing selection of lengths.
The icing on the cake was how well it worked. This was removing longstanding moss from a tarmacked footpath. I could not believe how well it worked. It’s hard work but its worth the reward. It removed 99% of the moss first time over, the rest came off with another quick burst of work. I am really impressed as i had tried all sorts of liquids and scrapers before.

Effective on my mossy drive
This stainless steel, wire brush arrived in bits in a sturdy ziplock bag.
The handle is in 4 pieces and simply screws together, with the brush head also screwing onto the end.
The handle is a good length, and the metal screw together sections keep together pretty well (though you need to make sure it’s put together really tightly – otherwise it will loosen up).
It’s a shame that the brush head doesn’t also screw together with metal fixings. This is a plastic screw and I can see it being a potential weak spot in future.
The brush is quite lightweight to use but it did find it was more effective when moved in a backwards direction. When brushing forwards it could cope with small movements but tended to “stick” if I tried a long sweeping forward motion.
It did make short work of the moss on my drive, the width of the head means it can shift a decent amount at a time.
At 19.97, at time of review, I think it’s decent value for a versatile wire brush.
Steel wire brush
I ordered this to try and help address stained paving in our garden from years of weathering and where the jet washer couldn’t quite solve it.
The brush handle is easy to assemble by screwing each section by hand. It literally took 2 mins. The first thing I noticed was that the brush isn’t quite as big as I would have expected and the bristles are a little bit softer than you might expect for stainless steel wire.
That said, it’s a decent brush and with the help of solvent / cleaning products, it helps to agitate the dirt off paving and other outdoor surfaces. I’m not convinced how much more effective this is compared to a really stiff broom, but nevertheless, it’s quite good.
Overall would I recommend? Yes, I would say so but it’s not a ‘wonder’ product either.
Good sturdy brush
This was used to get rid of flacky paint off the decking. Because of the ridges in the wood the power washer wasn’t doing the job and a hand held wire brush was back breaking. This did the job first time. Also comes apart for easy storage
