Price to performance ratio is excelle
Hello,
I’ve bought this lens after the comprehensive review from Dustin Abbott ( just Google it ) .
You won’t find a better 41mm lens (in 35mm terms, equivalent) at this price point into 2024.
This lens is being not only sharp, but all metal build, does have a usb-c port for lens firmware upgrades, and features a unique vintage-esque rendering style, hard to describe. You’d see it
Just don’t forget to add a good, round lens hood. Filter thread is 52mm, one can buy a cheap, 3rd party substitute for the Nikon 40mm F2 Z lens – same filter thread, LH-52N, or you can buy the Haoge lens hood here from Amazon, if you need to use and exchange filters often…think polarizer, red or yellow, UV filter, etc.
The STM AF motor drive is silent and fast. Lens comes into a nice 7artisans paper box with soft lens pouch, for storage.
Not my 1st 7artisans lens – I do own for Leica M mount both their 35mm F2 mark III and 35mm F1.4 Wen lens
Price to performance is excellent And you can never go wrong with either 35mm or 40(41mm here exactly) as the one lens – to shoot it all.
Highly recommended, for your Sony APS-C NEX or A6x00 series !
As a sidenote – this lens is currently only available for Sony E-mount, not Fuji X-mount, but it’s really sharper, and better rendering quality pictures, than my TTArtisan 27mm F2.8, which I use on my X-E2.
It's for Sony E mou
I noticed right at the top of the listing under compatible mountings it says ‘Sony A’, I was not aware of this lens having being released for that mounting. I wanted it with for my a6400, so I risked it on this one since everything else on the listing suggests e mount. Anyway I’ll cut to the chase, as shown in the pictures it is e mount and compatible with my camera and my initial impression is that it feels like a 200+ lens for 120, I’ve played around with it a little and I have absolutely no criticism at this price point.
Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert, tolles Preis-/Leistungsverhltnis
