9 V Rechargeable Battery, 13500mWh 9 V High Capacity Lithium
9 V Rechargeable Battery, 13500mWh 9 V High Capacity Lithium Batteries, with USB-C Fast Charging Cable, Ideal for Smoke Detectors, Microphone, Alarms, Toys, Torches, Medical Devices etc. (Pack of 2)

Convenient charging, good longevity
I bought these to go in our old Sennheiser radio mic transmitters as the cost of Duracells was eye watering. These last well in comparison; they’ll do a full shoot day where the alkalines won’t quite. Recharging from a USB C is nice and convenie
finally, no more buying PP3 primaries...
I use fishing alarms that take PP3 batteries, after replacing around half a dozen x4 sets (24 alkaline duracells) I decided to see if they made a lithium option, no more dead batteries to dispose of…. found these with fast USB-C charging.
Came with 9V but decided to charge them to 100%. Installed and working perfectly. The added bonus is the option to recharge anywhere any time.
If they last as long as they should I’ll save some money and not generate added waste.
Simple to charge
This is a review of the ‘9 V Rechargeable Battery, 13500mWh 9 V High Capacity Lithium Batteries’ from HUAENG.
I am slowly replacing all batteries in my house, where possible, with USB rechargable ones – ideally using this same form factor, where each battery can be recharged thanks to an in built USB socket and charger. This may reduce potential capacity, but it makes upkeep of the batteries a breeze as you no longer need to buy, keep and not loose a separate battery charger.
These batteries then arrived in simple packaging with a 2 in 1 USB cable. I put that cable aside and used my own two separate cables, as I had them ready, and the batteries charged to full (from their shipping charge) within 1 hour.
I then tested the batteries in a smoke alarm – they fitted and worked fine, before putting them in my battery cupboard, as I am now waiting for those original smoke alarm batteries to die
High claimed capacity, fussy about the lead used to charge them.
This pack of two 9v rechargeable batteries comes with a double headed USB-C lead, so both can be charged from a single USB-A output. There is a small LED to indicate charging status, otherwise they appear like any other 9v battery. The measured voltage when charged was very close to 9V. I cant say whether the claimed capacity is accurate as I do not have anything that can measure the discharge from this type of battery. The only thing I would say is that I tried charging them with six different USC-C leads, only on of which worked. So you better not loose the supplied lead.
Long term cost saving and easy to recharge
Directly rechargeable batteries are becoming more common and it’s nice to see that this technology is now being used in sizes other than the normal AA or AAA sized batteries. These 9v batteries came with a two pronged charging cable that utilizes a USB charging port so both batteries can be charged at the same time.
They were reasonably quick to charge and provide a useful alternative to having to keep a supply of 9v batteries for items that still require this size, such as my smoke alarms. It’s simple enough to recharge them and no need to have to buy replacements. Not only did they function well in my smoke alarms but they also performed well in my kitchen weighing scales. I also like that I can reduce the number of batteries I have to dispose of over time.
Recommended.
