It’s a great product and that works and fits well on the camera without obstructing any buttons but I realized that you have to take it off every time you wanna put in back in the case.
I don’t think it would hold the camera as well if it wasn’t as bulky as it is, which makes it secure But it doesn’t make the setup as quick as I had hoped it to be when I’m out and about trying to film.
I’d still recommend it as it’s better than carrying around a whole tripod.
The device works fine..... the only thing I dislike is that the magnet surface is not even... so if you place the whole system on a flat surface, you might notice some wiggle.

This magnetic mount gives you a ton of added versatility for a device that is already pretty versatile itself. Overall build quality is solid as well. The mount clamps the Pocket 3 very securely, and the magnets used are very strong. When using this mount and sticking it on something magnetic, it gives you great confidence that it's not going anywhere. Definitely recommended if you want more shooting options with your Pocket 3.

This accessory is great for vlogging shots where you want to be seen walking in a wider frame, or steady B-roll, provided there is a magnetic surface. These kinds of shots add a little dimension to vlogs. However, if you usually just hold the Pocket 3 to shoot clips, you might not need it. It’s all plastic, bordering on a cheaper material, but very useful. These little items are usually on sale, so I would wait for that.
I do a lot of Talking Head filming and the majority is in public places. And for anyone who films in public you know all too well that setting up a tripod does two things, it draws attention to you (yes even more than standing and talking to a camera does) and it is something that you are constantly waiting for someone that is focused on you as your filming to trip over, ruin the shot and more than likely cost you a camera.
I haven’t been anywhere that I cannot find a piece of metal to attach this rig to and get shooting. It is just a very sensible tool that works exactly as it should and gives me a lot of options, especially in places where a tripod isn’t an option.
I’ve rigged up a little piece of steel with a sticky back so even if I am in a spot where there is little to no place to mount my Pocket 3, I can make it happen.
Leaving the tripod home is great, I have more freedom to get different shots without undue attention and a lot less hassle.
Way to go Amazear great mount and one that is ALWAYS in the kit bag.
