Can’t fault these batteries. I use them in my bike power meters and tended to buy them individually. These are much cheaper and so far they have performed identically to the bigger brands I have used in the past.
Long-lasting power for my gadgets
I purchased these batteries for a variety of devices, including a laser sight and a calculator, and they’ve worked flawlessly. There is not a great deal to say about these batteries other than the fact that they come well packaged, clean and worked perfectly in a dog collar and a kids toy that takes 3 stacked button batteries/ Incredibly pleased with the quality and performance of these and seem to be pretty good value with 8 of these for just under a tenner.
Better than using 2x LR44 batteries in my devices
I tested this pack of 3v Lithium Batteries
Here’s what I found…
Pros The CR 1/3N battery is the same size as two 1.55v SR-44 silver-oxide batteries. I use these in power hungry cameras in place of two silver oxide cells because, based on light metal chemistry, lithium cells have incredible storage capacity for their size — many times that of alkaline or silver-oxide batteries.
Most modern cameras have a “bridge circuit” and are not voltage dependent, so this can be used in place of 2x LR44 alkaline 1.35v cells in many cameras.
They also have much better cold weather performance as well as a shelf-life of 10+ years.
Voltage testing was correct.
Cons The only downside is that lithium is a pollutant, so dispose of your lithium batteries at an approved recycling centre as LiMnO2 cells are not rechargeable.
OVERALL – I like this – and would be happy to get it again.
Delivery was quick – it came the next day which is great service – especially if you are just heading off on holiday (finding a CR 1/3N battery on the high street isn’t easy these days).
When you have kids toys these are a must.
I was fed up of trying to fit three of the little batteries into kids toys but these just pop one in and your done. Never knew thy had this size come in a handy pack the plastic slides back and put thy come, no more messing about trying to pop the three tiny ones out of those blister packs.
8 for under 10 great value.
Great value pack
These should last me years – 8 for under a tenner is a good deal. Now it’s going to take many months to know how long they last, but I don’t really have any doubts. They’re lithium so they’ll last a good long time.
They work, they’re good value – there’s not much more than I can say – except the simple cardboard package with blisters looks nice? It is worth noting the manufacturer makes the important point that you should not handle the battery by the diodes (flat surfaces) – this I knew already because oils from your fingers can damage the battery and your device. So kudos to good pre-emptive customer service and good information.
