I’d recommend this for a more confident painte
The muted colours of this paint by numbers kit work so well with the flowers and the antique bottle/jar in the picture. The canvas is good quality, though there are some very tiny areas that will test a novice painter. The paints seem like good quality too, and I probably don’t need to mention that I think the colours are beautiful. I’d recommend this for a more confident painter.
Detailed, so not for kids.

When you think about just how long it’s going to take you to paint something this detailed I feel you really are getting your money’s worth. The amount of detail staggered me a little. I haven’t done a paint-by-number kit since I was really little. This truly is the adult version. I’ve only had time to do a little of it so far. I wanted to feel like I had a handle on it before reviewing – with my busy schedule it’s going to take me a while to finish this painting. I haven’t decided yet if it’ll look good enough to hang up yet. We’ll see. But I do like how quickly the paint dries. As far as I can tell it’s acrylic. I was able to do a little bit of color blending which pleased me as that makes it look better. Given my experience so far, I think there’s a fair chance I may give a go at another one of these in the future. Forgot to mention, I like how what you’re painting on looks and sort-of feels like a proper canvas. I’d been expecting stiff cardboard, so that was a welcome surprise.
