Lovely pendant necklace, if a little small.
This is a lovely pendant in top quality stainless steel, plated in 18 carat gold. It depicts the cross in the background, with St Christopher holding his staff, and carrying the Christ child on his shoulder. The 3D effect, and the design are beautiful, and the rope type chain compliments the pendant perfectly. My one criticism, it is a little on the small side, but still a lovely item of personal jewelry.
The necklace comes nicely boxed, and would make a superb gift, and the price of just over 30 (using the current 15% off voucher), makes it great value for money. There is a choice of designs available in gold, or silver, but I think the Cross St Christopher – Gold version I chose is the best looking, and most reasonably priced. Highly recommended, but I would advise removing it when swimming, bathing, or showering to preserve the beautiful finish. .
Good necklace, presented well but pricey.
This is a well presented necklace, comes in a great gift box with warranty and the quality is very good. I do feel a bit confused by the listing information, the gold version says gold plated over steel but I received the silver version but it doesn’t say its silver plated, only stainless steel. Both the same price. The gift box comes with an outer cover with brand sealing label, when removed reveals the void to show the box has been opened. All very good but personally I feel this makes more of the necklace and its value especially when I opened the gift box to see the necklace in a cheap plastic cover with a big stainless steel label. If I was to give this as a gift I would remove the outer layer and take the necklace out of the plastic cover and present in in the box, it then shows a great necklace, you could keep the stainless label and tuck it under the velvet tray card so its clear what the necklace is made from for anyone who is sensitive to metals. Overall, good necklace, at the time of this review 19.99 which feels a bit pricey for what it is but would definitely make a great gift. The outer box label says st Christopher but I received a compass version.
