Fun launche
7 year old loved the build & managed to follow the instructions, these are clear and 7yo found them easy to follow. The launcher is fun & adds an extra play element, with the set being colourful but relatively small.

Brilliant LEGO quality and details, as usual. This set would make a lovely gift for any LEGO and Sonic the Hedgehog fan and with 393 pieces, it’s quite a fun build aimed at 8+ yr olds or older, although my niece is 7 and built it herself with little help.
An excellent Lego set - our kids loved building it!
Ordered for our daughters to put together as they are both absolutely mad for Sonic the hedgehog. This set is very simple to put together, with the usual clear instructions from Lego that you can trust to be well illustrated and to take the process in easy to follow steps.
The lego comes in handily labelled packages, 1,2,3 etc.. with instructions that match. This makes the build super easy to follow and our girls were able to just get going on their own without needing our assistance.
The set itself is bright and colourful and I really think they’ve caught the game characters very well. They are detailed enough and the vehicles included are super.
This is a fantastic lego set and I wholeheartedly recommend it!
Perfect idea for a gif
The LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog Tails’ Adventure Boat set is a fun build for kids, especially if they’re into Sonic. The boat with the speed launcher is pretty cool, and the Tails and Sonic figures add to the play. There’s also a little island and some other characters, so there’s enough here to keep them busy.
At 46.98, it’s not exactly cheap, but it’s good quality, as you’d expect from LEGO. It’s a bit more of a hit for younger kids, but even older fans might appreciate it for the nostalgia. If you’re buying for a Sonic fan, this set is a nice mix of building and play. Plus, if you have Prime, you get free delivery and easy returns, which is always a bonus.

My girls were over the moon when we managed to get this as they LOVE sonic, my 3 year old is happy just watching her 7.5yo sister carefully build. I’ve left her too it and she comes and goes but she has an eye for detail, being very careful building and following the instructions on her own, there are some fiddly bits she has asked help with but otherwise she’s been able to do all the bits she’s done so far Independently excellent quality pieces as ever from LEGO brand and I can’t wait to see it finished! Branded LEGO is always more in terms of cost but you definitely get what you pay for when it comes to quality yes I would recommend

Sonic and Tails have to battle with Jawz in this Lego adventure. They’re having a picnic on the isalnd and along comes Jawz to steal the gold rings. Launch Tails Adventure Boat to save the day, fire the speed spehere from the boat at Jawz and help Sonic get airborne with his parasail to watch for trouble. There is a lot of fun to be had with this set and our house has already had hours of entertainment. It’s all in kid’s imagination and they can play for hours. The set includes Sonic, Tails, and Jawz along with the boat, launcher and the island with arch and gold rings.
The build is straightforward and although it says 8 years and older, we found it an easy build for a 6 year old. The set looks really good, it’s bright and fun. It’s a highly interactive set and it is has been cleverly designed for maximum imaginative play.
Brilliant Lego as always
My little boy, who is 8, is always asking for more Lego, and he was so excited to get this set!
He rates it 5 stars, and thoroughly enjoyed putting it all together. I did try to do some of it with him, but apparently he is the expert! We really liked that the plastic bags that divide the pieces up are now paper, which was great from the environmental point of view as of course it meant that they could go in the recycling rather than the bin.
It was all the usual standard of quality, the pieces fit together well and didn’t come apart too easily while assembling. The instruction book was nice and clear and easy to follow.
Would make a great gift for a Lego fan, or a fan of Sonic!
Fun but not a lot for the price
This LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog Tails’ Adventure Boat Collectible Interactive Toy is a great Sonic themed set.
The sets main focus is a boat but there is also a small island with an arch. This island is so tiny it’s questionable whether we can call it an island though! There are 393 pieces in this set and it is recommended for children aged eight and over. This seems like a good age as it’s not a difficult build and the instructions are easy to follow but it would still be a bit of a challenge for this age.
I like that the set has lots of play opportunities with a sphere launcher built into the boat and a parasail to connect Sonic too. These are lots of fun and work well. The mini figures included in this set are Sonic, Tails and Jaws. I don’t recognise Jaws but he’s interesting looking and an easy build.
I think this is a great set and it’s so much fun. There isn’t a lot included for the price though which is a shame, it would have been nicer to have more or a bigger island considering the nearly 50 price tag!
Cool Adventure Boat With Launcher!!
This Sonic the Hedgehog boat set comes with Sonic, Tails and Tocky and Jaws (no idea who they are, they’re some kind of jet-propelled character).
The set is mainly the boat itself, but there’s also an island piece with an arch (with three rings), and a beach with tree.
The front of the boat also opens up to be able to launch Tails out in a roller-ball as some kind of attack manoeuvre.
The boat is nicely detailed with a high degree of complexity to justify the price. It’s a nice set, and of course LEGO quality that you can expect.
