Great quality magnet building panels
This set of magnets have been great for the kids. They’re a great size since they’re quite a bit larger than the older types of magnet building panels that they’ve had in the past. The sides of the panels have magnets built into the sides, so they’re able to connect to each other easily without any kind of force or specific alignment. They feel great in the hands and feel sturdy as well, so in terms of quality I’m really happy with them.
This set has a great theme – it includes dinosaurs, trees and the magnets have distinct shapes and designs on them so you can create roads and buildings. You can also make a crane too.
There is enough to make about 2 small buildings, a simple road and crane. Many of the product photos show far more elaborate designs and construction, which isn’t really possible with the one set – you’d have to buy multiple of them to create that. I’d say that the amount included isn’t too great, but the quality of them is good.
Nice se
I like this set of magnetic tiles. It’s got some bits,(road tiles and a crane) which I haven’t seen in a magnetic tiles set before.
The size of the tiles makes it compatible with branded tile sets that we own. However, these tiles are definitely poorer quality as they don’t have reinforcement under the plastic in the middle of the tiles like the more expensive brands do. I guess this means they might crack or break if they are trodden on it bashed too much. The crane mechanism is connected to itself with small round bits of plastic which feels like they might be quite brittle and easy to snap.
My kids really enjoyed playing with this and building houses and cars for the plastic dinosaurs included.
Amazing
Who knew magnets could spark so much joy? The Magnetic Tiles Road Building Blocks set is a total game-changer for tiny builders! My kids transformed our living room into a dinosaur metropolis in no time. The magnet crane car is the cherry on top—watching them zoom around with their creations is pure comedy gold! Perfect for little hands and big imaginations. If you’re looking for a gift that guarantees giggles and creativity, this is it. Move over, traditional toys; we’ve found our new favorite distraction!
Smaller than the listing photos sugges
I feel the tiles in this set are smaller than the listing photos would suggest and also the 43 piece count includes individual parts of the crane rather than being 43 tiles.
It is a fun set with many vibrantly different coloured / designed tiles and it even comes with a crane you build that is able to pick up tiles and move the tiles about which is fun.
The two dinosaurs and two trees that are included are fun, a strange combination but my nephew loves dinosaurs so he was happy.
There were diagrams included in the pack and we tried to create our own designs. (My nephew then discovered they attach to the radiator so be aware). Even though there are 43 pieces you are rather limited and to increase the build options you would need more tiles.
The magnets on the tiles are VERY strong and caused skin pinching when small hands couldn’t pull them apart. Close supervision is therefore essential.
I feel the 19.98 pricetag is rather expensive (especially if you were to double up on sets). However, that said it is still a lot of fun and kept my nephews and niece entertained for a couple of hours.
Happy so
We have got lots of magnet sets before but none with like a design to replicate or role play as such. My son has loved copying the design and setting it all up to play with. It’s a fun little set. The pictures however do show the dinosaurs being a lot larger than what you get but it’s not effected us.
Love the design of these magnetic tiles
We have several magnetic tile sets in our house and the design patterns on these mean they will be a well used set.
This set comes with a few welcome extras that aren’t usually included in magnetic tile sets. The crane, dinosaurs and printed tiles enhance the play and help nudge the littles ones with their imaginative play. Giving them ideas about building roads and towers that can be knocked down by the crane.
The tiles look and feel well made with the magnets having a strong attraction to each other meaning that when put together the buildings do hold together well. There is a strong plastic/rubber smell from the dinosaurs but found that this had pretty much disappeared after a few days in the open air.
Brilliant se
Firstly, these tiles are the same sort of size tiles as other brands of magna tiles. I thought I’d mention as one of the images makes the tiles look huge compared to the children – this is not the case
We have two other well known brands of these tiles and they are compatible with both of these
Good, strong magnets
Dinosaurs and foliage included
A really fun set to play with and a great addition to what we already have
We particularly love the crane and the road tiles. Would certainly purchase this brand in future
Great set of magnetiles
Lovely set of magnetiles.
The magnetic tiles road building blocks come with 2 dinosaurs, trees, a car magnet with 4 wheels, tiles that look like a roads tiles that look like a brick wall, a magnetic fork lift that spins and some tiles in different shapes.
The tiles are of good quality and stick well and strong enough to build on. The dinosaurs are a fun touch to use your imagination.
My 3 year old really enjoyed playing with this.
The only thing I wish they had was more tiles that can be used as the road. There isn’t enough to make a big road.
But still super fun to play with and use your imagination.
Magnetic Tiles Set - includes tiles, car crane, roads, dinosaurs
This is an interesting toy set for the older toddler/young children. The set includes magnetic tiles to make 3D buildings, road pieces to construct a simple road network, a wheeled platform and crane gantry to make a mobile crane, and two plastic dinosaurs.
The manual is in colour and provides a useful guide to several constructions. The magnetic pieces hold firm when built up, and the crane gantry extends and rotates. The only minor issue is that the tall dinosaur does not stand upright without first twisting its leg!
This is a great set of tiles, which can be enjoyed on its own or added to another compatible magnetic tiles set.
A Small Set and Not as Big As Depicted in the Item Description But Still Fu
This is a fairly decent set of magnetic tiles but it’s still a very small set and nowhere near as bit as implied in the item description. You only get 43 pieces here (which really isn’t 43 once you fit all the pieces of the crane together!) and you’re limited with what you can actually build with it. However, it still manages to be fun (and it’s just as well I have another set to go with this one to bulk it all up a bit).
The pieces are well made at least, the magnets are all good and work as they should. I really like that the tiles are decorated and it makes a nice change from all the blank ones you usually see in these kinds of magnetic tile sets. The idea of the construction site, building houses and construction vehicles is great and the dinosaurs just add an extra dimension to the whole thing. There are even enough tiles to make a road circuit (though it is a very, very, small circuit as you only get 9 road pieces. Still it is a circuit nonetheless) and that there are some nice trees.
The dinosaurs look good too (though reek of plastic, which thankfully does lessen the more they’re out the box) though they’re also definitely not as big as they’re depicted in the pictures above.
It’s probably a bit expensive for what it is but it is at least fun. We’re huge fans of magnetic tiles in our house and have loads of sets and this one will go nicely with them.
Recommended.
