IT WORKS MIRACLES
Just sprayed the windows and physically watched a spider run out of the window to get away from it, spider wasn’t in pain or hurt in anyway shape or form but obviously didn’t like it. 100% recommend if your scared of spiders but don’t want to hurt them! Also you get more than your moneys worth!
Smells nice but not sure whether it works or no
This is a concentrated spider repellent refill that comes with a spray bottle.
Instructions on how to make up the solution are clear and you only need 6 drops of the concentrate to make up 100ml of spray so it should last a really long time.
The formula is based on essential oils that should repel insects and spiders (at least in theory). The product has a fresh citrusy herby scent that is fairly pleasant. It is really difficult to comment on its effectiveness as the true test will come in autumn when all spiders seem to want to move indoors.
Additionally, having a cat in the house, I am generally careful about using these sprays. Essential oils can cause allergic or adverse reactions in humans and pets too.
If you use this indoors, the scent does linger for several hours so you might need to be mindful of where and when you spray this.
At time of review this product was tested for just over a week, and I have already noticed it make a difference. The product comes in a zip bag that is good enough for storing the spray bottle and small essential oil bottle in. Filling the spray bottle with water and adding the oil is all super easy, give it all a shake and you are good to go.
I tested the product by spraying a few places with the solution and left some other areas to compare. Within the week I saw all the spiders in the sprayed are move away, and there was still spiders in the unsprayed areas. This makes me think the product definitely has a effect on spiders.
I tested inside and outside my house. Specifically the outside of my windows, since I get alot of spiders coming indoors in the summer that live around the outside of my windows. I also used the spray in the corners of a room that get spiders in spring/summer time, and have not seen any spiders in said room since spraying. I have however seen spiders in rooms that were not sprayed.
I’m not sure I like the smell though. Since it is a bunch of different oils the specifically target spiders, it is quite a strong smell that dosent really work as a scent. I have noticed though that the scent does not last much longer than a day.
Overall, I’m very pleased with this product. I’m impressed I can deter spiders from places, and not harm them in the process. Would recommend.
