Projectors have come down in price a lot over recent years and at under 60 and still with a 10% discount at time of writing this is very good value as a projector in terms of price.

This is pretty easy to use and it’s ready almost out of the box. It has a number of apps pre-installed and I noticed that Netflix was one of them. It also has the play store but this is a limited one and not the full one. I didn’t see some of the big apps like Sky or Disney+ but it does have many others like prime, ITV X as well as many other like Pluto tv etc.

Once logged in and switched on – the keystone correction is ok but it didn’t set it up perfectly and needed a bit of fiddling. The display was a little washed out and the image didn’t feel that bright. It’s perfectly respectable it’s just not brilliant.

It’s easy to control the projector with the included remote control and the projector itself is very compact and doesn’t take up too much space. The picture quality is ok and you are able to change the focus on the protector by turning the dial on the top of it. You will definitely want to connect this to an external audio output as although the sound is ok – it won’t do justice to a big movie or a sports event.

It has a decent selection of apps that you can download from the play store but this is a very much reduced play store. It also says that support for Netflix app will be stopped from the 15th July so that’s a bit disappointing so you will need to screen mirror to watch some of the more popular apps.

Overall I think this is ok. This isn’t going to replace your main TV but as something to watch the occasional movie or a sports event on a big screen then at this price it’s very good value. The brightness of the image and the lack of support of some of the big apps does result in this being scored down despite the bargain price.
