Great For Filming Makeup Applications
I’ve been using this neck holder for filming videos of makeup applications and it’s been nice for recording some b-footage. The fact that I can pop this on and forget about it while I get to work is really nice and makes for a great hands-free filming experience.
It would have been nice for the neck strap to be adjustable to help reduce shakiness if you’re moving around, but nonetheless, the footage looks good after some stabilization in post-editing.
Be aware that if your phone isn’t MagSafe or has a case on it that isn’t MagSafe supported, you’ll need to attach a magnet to the back, which can be a little bit of an eyesore if you have a nice case on it.
This thing is fantastic and easy to use! It has already made my life easier and I’m not even a content creator.
Looks sleek, it’s comfortable to wear, and thr magnet is STRONG – my phone isnt going anywhere. It also comes with magnetic rings if your phone isn’t already mag ready.

Très pratique!
ant en fauteuil roulant, je cherchais une solution pour pouvoir filmer les mains libres et en mode camra embarque et cet outil le permet trs bien. Le collier pse un peu mais a n’est pas vraiment gnant. Il est la fois souple et rigide ce qui lui permet de s’adapter votre morphologie et de le ranger plus aisment en le repliant il est recouvert de silicone pour plus de confort.
Le support magntique pour smartphone est en mtal, ce qui le rend assez solide et l’aimant fonctionne trs bien. condition d’utiliser l’iPhone nu ou une coque avec un bon systme MagSafe ou encore utiliser les adaptateurs adhsifs fournis. Maintenant, je pense que malgr la sangle de scurit fournie, ce systme n’est pas idal si vous comptez faire des mouvements intenses au risque de voir votre smartphone se dcrocher. Dans ce cas, il vaudrait mieux privilgier un systme d’accroche pince.
Il est noter que le smartphone se trouve trs prs du corps et du menton si vous voulez filmer ce qu’il se passe devant vous mais on y prend trs vite l’habitude.
Le systme peut galement tre utilis pour par exemple faire des tutoriels ou des unboxing en filmant ce qui se trouve en bas.
Le collier est galement fourni avec un systme d’attache pour une action cam de type go pro ou dji action.
Je recommande vivement ce produit pour ceux qui comme moi aiment filmer et n’ont qu’un smartphone disposition.

If your phone isn’t MagSafe, it comes with a metal ring that attaches to your phone (or phone case) instantly making it compatible.
The base allows a 180 tilt. You can place your phone on it both vertically & horizontally.
It pivots & tilts but not easily, which is a good thing.
The neck strap is made of stainless steel & silicone. It’s tough & bendable. It snaps in & to release, simply hold the button on the back & pull it out. The magnetic base is INSANELY STRONG.
I love the simplicity of this product.
As shown in my video it comes with a small lanyard as well as a long, adjustable strap that has 2 buckle attachments. One buckle can slide along the strap while the other is at one end.
The do not buckle into eachother & I’m unsure what they’re meant to buckle into. There’s no info regarding this strap or how it’s used.
After rec my video review, I slipped it around my chest & over the base plate then tightened it. The buckles attach to nothing but It definitely helps hold it tighter against my chest, preventing any bouncing.
I’m assuming the loose end with the other buckle is to attach to my phone but there’s no way to attach it so I’m stumped lol. That probably not be what it’s meant for but I’m making use of it in that way.
It doesn’t bounce much but if the length of the neck strap was adjustable or a bit shorter it would fit me better. It sits directly on my chest (bounce, bounce) So, I feel it would be smoother video if it sat slightly above where it is now.
If you’re looking for hands free POV video, no matter your phone model, this is a GREAT product that I highly recommend giving a try
The Neewer Neck holder for POV phone video is a decent neck holder. The neck ring is bendable and can be adjust freely. The one thing I hope that could be improved for this product is the weight. It is heavy, especially the magnetic piece, for carrying around the neck for longer than 20 min.
