I like the color. I bought it because of the color and the price. I do photography and videography, and the color of the lens allows me to notice it instantly and grab it. The lens does exactly what it is meant to do. It's nice and sharp, and the autofocus is just as great as any Sony lens I have for videography. It's lightweight, too!

Fx30 Sony and zve10
It’s a f1.2 lens for cheap with autofocus. What else do we say.
Pro: great in low light, awesome blur on apsc, nice white color, very light Lens good for gimble
Cons: slightly slower autofocus but very smooth and quiet, some chromatic aberration and is soft at f1.2
Edit: used it for 2 months now. The difference on the f1.2 vs 2.8 is crazy. For cheaper camera bodies like zve10 and fx30 the low light performance is gamechanging. I could keep iso levels low at 6400 in low light max and get great shots in darker lighting. On the other hand I got a variable ND filter as a must for daylight as although we can increase the aperture if I wanted to use f1.2 for blur I needed to use the ND.
Takeaways: the is chromatic aberration on the 23mm(the one I got) it’s greenish mostly but I dint find it bad. It’s kind of vintage looking at f1.2 I belive it goes away at f2.0 as to what i saw.
Autofocus: it’s slower than Tamron or native but doesn’t hunt on sony and is smooth to transition. The focusing distance is like 30cm or something but still ok for selfies at 23mm (35mm full frame equivelent)
This vs other choices: 23mm one or sigma 16mm f1.4 (I have both) … I like the Sirui more because it’s lighter but it’s also a bit tighter of a shot. I prefer for more light of the f1.2 but can’t go wrong with either. 16mm is not wide enough for selfie either I feel like so both would not work great for vlogging. For that go with 11mm or so because active stabilization punches in a bunch and then catalyst browse also crops more…
Lens is not super sharp at f1.2 BUT it creates a gorgeous chromatic aberration around the edges of what’s in focus. The bokeh is super smooth and very soft. Once you crank the f stop to around f2.8 or f4 it becomes insanely sharp! Very content with this lens. Great job Sirui! Found out after the fact that it’s Sirui’s first autofocus lens. And I didn’t know but to have an f1.2 with autofocus at the size it comes in, was apparently impossible. But clearly, Sirui did it first! Super35 or apsc lens. Great lens!
