Review of quest 3 grip controllers
I recently had the opportunity to try out the grip controllers for the Oculus Quest 3, and I have to say, they exceeded my expectations in every way.
Comfort: The first thing I noticed when I picked up the grip controllers was how comfortable they felt in my hands. The ergonomic design fits perfectly in my palms, making long gaming sessions a breeze. The material is soft yet durable, providing a pleasant tactile experience without causing any discomfort or fatigue, even after extended use.
Grip Strength: Another standout feature of these controllers is their grip strength. The textured surface ensures a firm hold, preventing any slipping during intense gameplay. Whether I was swinging a virtual sword or drawing a bow, the controllers stayed securely in my hands, providing a sense of confidence and control.
Comfortable, easy to use
The cover alone makes the controllers less slippy in your hands when playing games like Beat Sabre, and the knuckle grips add extra stability. Playing with the controllers alone, I was occasionally having to micro-adjust my grip on the controllers mid-song, but I don’t have to any more. There’s a gap for the string loops, but I’ve taken mine off – even if they slip from my hand now (much less likely) they won’t go flying like they used to, they’d probably just land harmlessly on the floor at my feet. Only challenge is if you have a carry case with moulded sections, the controllers are a little chunkier now – they still just about fit with some wiggling, and the lid is tight to close, but they still do go in. They’re easy to get on and off, but I’d still say it’s worth getting the ones with the battery slot.
My controller's are going nowhere!
This has made a pleasant change to how my controllers feel along with the security of knowing they won’t fly off into the wall if BeatSaber gets too hectic. The grip texture makes holding the controller more comfortable and the strap feels snug around your hand when you need to relax your grip.
The only drawback (and it is slight) is that when you have the straps on the angle the controller is forced into means you do have to exert some pressure against the straps to have the controller in the right position to be able to hit each button with ease. As I said, this is a minor issue but it took a little getting used to and it could be deterring to new users if they weren’t expecting it.
Overall, I’m very pleased with the product and feel happier with this than just relying on the standard flimsy wrist string that has failed already. Definitely worth the money.

These are a must for quest owners, it’s a far more comfortable experience using this type of grip and helps aid immersion!
These are low cost and really good quality, super easy to fit too and I’m really happy with my purchase
Awesome Quest 3 controller grips
My son wanted controller grips that also covered the edge of the quest 3 controllers – to give them some protection from accidental knocks when he’s flinging himself around playing gorilla tag. Having looked at lots we decided these looked good quality, covered the controller edges and provided a good level of grip. When they arrived he was really pleased, they are fabulous quality, easy to put on, they cover plenty of the edge without affecting the tracking, the are very comfortable to use, have aided his grip and are excellent value for money . BUY THESE you will not be disappointed.
Good for the price
No real problems. They work as expected and I haven’t noticed any tracking issues, so I assume the controllers’ trackers aren’t being covered. The strap is comfortable and hasn’t got any buckle or similar that might irate my hand. The only small thing, like similar types I’ve tried, is the strap causes the controller to be a slightly off angle when holding weapons in the game. But it is easy to adjust and the benefits of having ‘hands-free’ option easily outweighs any negative.
