Answers to Mostly Asked Questions

Q1 Can it be used for guitar or piano?
A1 The Bluetooth transmission process may cause varying sound quality loss and transmission delays and is incompatible with third-party cables (e.g., XLR ports). Therefore, it is not recommended to use the Bluetooth adapter for musical instrument performance, music performances, or other scenarios with high sound quality and delay requirements.
Q2 What should I do if I can’t connect the Bluetooth adapter to my Bluetooth headphones or speakers?
A2 Turn off all Bluetooth devices in your home. When pairing with the Syntech Bluetooth adapter for the first time, ensure your headphones or speakers are not connected to other devices. During the pairing process, keep the devices close to each other (within 1 meter). If connection issues persist, reset the Syntech Bluetooth adapter and the headphones/speakers to their original settings.
Q3 What to Pay Attention to in TX Mode?
A3 1. Function Restrictions: Taking calls is not supported in TX mode! Also, in searching status of TX mode, the song’s volume up/down and pause functions, previous/next song switching will not be available.
A3 2. Play & Pause: In TX mode, the data transmission is passive, so the pause button only interrupts the sound transmission, and the playback progress is not paused.
Note 1. Device limitations: Please be careful when using it with Bluetooth capabilities, such as laptops, mobile phones, and Bluetooth speakers. Keep in mind that the microphone function can only be accessed in RX mode!
Note 2. Memory function: The memory function may not be suitable for headphones using proprietary protocols. For instance, AirPods tend to prioritize connecting to iPhone or iPad devices over other devices. Therefore, when the headphones are disconnected, you may need to reactivate the Bluetooth function to reconnect.
Note 3. Connection: The performance of each brand of headphones is different, so some headphones may take a long time to connect for the first time. (generally in 5-10S). In addition, when connecting the second pair of Bluetooth headphones after a successful connection with the first pair, please avoid pressing the search button frequently to prevent potential freezing issues.
Note 4. Audio Latency: If you experience delays while using your device, ensure that your device supports low latency and keep the devices near each other with minimal obstructions for a seamless experience.
Note 5. Sound quality: Our Bluetooth receiver/transmitter is equipped with advanced decoders. If you encounter sound quality issues, double-check the audio source for optimal performance.
Note 6. Compatibility: This Bluetooth adapter works fine when used for Beats Studio Buds model alone, but when you connect a second other device, playback of audio may stutter. Therefore when you use it for Beats Studio Buds, it is recommended not to connect a 2nd other Bluetooth headphone.
Note 7. Multi-device: In TX/RX mode, the volume of the Bluetooth adapter may automatically decrease due to the initial volume control of the connected device, especially when connecting a second device. You must manually adjust the volume by long-pressing the volume up or down button.

    Latency is pretty good
This is the 4th Bluetooth transmitter I’ve tried. The use I have is basically to attach to my projector in the bedroom so I can either connect to my Alexa dot or my headphones. Latency an battery life are the most important and on both these points it works well. There is a tiny tiny bit of latency but not enough to ruin the experience. I would recommend.

Sound is average on home device - hoping plane will be bette
This is a great idea but on home devices the sound isn’t great but we are hoping that it will be better on the plane – proper usage case test coming up.

    Well packaged and well presented.

    lightweight and highly portable.

We like the led display – other similar products we’ve tried haven’t had this and it is a good addition.

Good battery life as can last up to 12 hours which will be for most of our long haul flights.

Nice storage pouch to keep this safe and bits together

Only plane test will determine if this is worth the moment. They are better standard use transmitters but this USP is for the plane!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersA great device to connect your own headphones to aircraft entertainment systems
I bought two of these units for use on a long haul flights, one for myself and one for my gf. They worked brilliantly, allowing us to use our own noise cancelling headphones instead of the poor quality ones provided by the airline. The Bluetooth adaptors are supplied in a neat pouch and come with everything needed to connect to the airline entertainment system plus a usb charging cable.

Set up was a breeze with the connection made in seconds on first use. Switch the unit on, set to transmit and put the headphones into pairing mode. The name of the headphones appears on the screen of the adaptor and the connection is made. For subsequent use, the connection is made as soon as headphones and adaptor are switched on.

Sound quality is very good. I listened to Talking Heads and AC/DC and could hear a level of detail comparable to when the headphones are connected directly to my phone. Volume was adequate. I watched several TV programmes and films including Gladiator, Napoleon and 32 sounds. Latency was minimal, but just about detectable if I looked for it closely. It was not an issue for normal viewing. The documentary film 32 Sounds provided a good test of performance. The film contains demonstrations of binaural sound effects and these worked perfectly through the Bluetooth adaptor.

Battery life is excellent. I used my unit on two consecutive flights totalling around 17 hours with an estimated listening time of 12 – 14 hours. Two bars remained on the battery indicator after this time. I gave both units a brief charge and they were ready for the return journey.

These units can be used to stream music from a phone a device with line in. This might be useful in future for music streaming in a hire car. I have not tried this yet so cannot comment on this feature.

    Good and useful
Having grown accustomed over the years to finding Bluetooth devices somewhat picky about quick and easy connections this was a pleasant surprise to come across and surely an indication that paying a little more can often be worth the price. Coming as it did in a box containing a simple but effective manual and a semi had carrying case with a quickstart guide/charging lead/short audio patch lead and a 1into 2 plug along with the device itself in a rubbery belt hanger bracket. Quick and easy transmit and receive connections were rapidly made between a variety of audio devices with the interface itself identifying as B100 and a small useful colour LED screen to provide important context. A device that’ll surely be of use in a variety of environments in the future.

Excellent 2 in 1 bluetooth device
A great little bluetooth device that serves two purposes in one.
In TX mode, it will take analogue audio from a headphone jack and send it to a bluetooth device such as bluetooth headphones.
In RX mode, it will receive bluetooth audio for example from Spotify on your phone and output analog audio into a device.
I have mainly been using it as a bluetooth transmitter.
The audio is excellent and the Bluetooth range is good, I am able to move around the house with no interruptions to the audio.
The battery will get me through a whole day at work and can be charged with the included USB-C cable.
It comes with an audio adapter and a short 3.5mm jack cable.
There is a removable silicone case which I have kept on the device as it gives it more protection from knocks.
A really handy bluetooth transmitter & receiver which has many uses!

Very easy to pair with headphones.
This is a very neat little device which feels well made. I found it easy to pair with other bluetooth devices, helped by the display screen which shows you the device names.

    Not a bad little transmitter/receive
I’ve used a couple of these devices from different brands with mixed results so was keen to try this one from Syntech to see if it worked and how well.

Initial unboxing was promising as it looks well designed and comes with not only a rubber housing to protect the device itself but also a protective case to keep it and other accessories altogether, something other brands I’ve used didn’t have.

As for testing, I’m yet to use this on a plane even though that’s the primary use I’ll have for it, but I have tested it to connect my earbuds and over-ear headphones to anything I can find that doesn’t have Bluetooth but does have a jack connection for the the device to plug in to.

So far I haven’t found anything that doesn’t allow me to connect my headphones to the device to listen to music, I’ve even got them working on an old radio set. The device can be charged via a USB cable and whilst the vendor quotes a battery life of 12 hours I haven’t tested it fully but I have tested it for several hours and this device would certainly last the duration of any long haul flight.

So far I’m quite impressed with this transmitter and look forward to my next flight to use it and from my testing on other devices I’m confident it should work as required. Recommended.
