    The only thing that works.
A great treatment for the Box Moth (another gift from China!) You do need to spray 2-3 times a year but my box hedging is looking good after 4 years of moth infestation.

    Expensive but it does work
You have to spray this on at the correct time in the season. Ensure the temperature on the day you spray is within the suggested parameters. As a extra, there’s a fertiliser included which makes the leaves really green in the following days. This isn’t a one application cure all, you have to do it each year and also hand remove the caterpillars too whenever possible.

    Effective
Too expensive to continue to use, but obviously which hedges have had treatment, they have survived well.
But too expense, so going to let nature take its course and replace when hedge completely dead.

    Excellent product!!
I am a professional gardener who has been in business for over 30 years. We have a contract with a care home group who have box hedging as part of their landscaping. This box caterpillar treatment has literally been a life saver!!! Have been using it for 3 years now and we have beautiful bushy green box hedging!! We have seen the devastating damage if not treated and lost a couple of box before we started this treatment. The cost of replacing all the box was 12’000 so care home owners are super happy with us!! I can’t recommend this product enough and am very grateful for it!!

Superb - Box back from the dead
Neglect led to heavy infestation over a couple of years. In some places box bushes had no leaves at all. I ended up doing 3 treatments in April a couple of weeks apart due to the high number of caterpillars and that some seemed to survive after the first dose. We are now mid August and all box plants look healthy. The ones with no leaves look slightly thin, but have definitely recovered.
We have over 20m of box hedges and there is no way they would have survived without this treatment- picking caterpillars was never sufficient to make an impact on the population numbers and took ages.
I definitely recommend this product and will be using in future years. It’s expensive, but much cheaper than replacing a hedge.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGood stuff, no, brilliant stuff.
Sprayed this all over my box plant. Complete coverage is paramount. Five days have passed and no sign of any caterpillars. I spent so much time growing and cutting and trimming these plants, that pulling them up was going to be a no. Xen Tari by TOPBUXUS is brilliant. P.S; cover every leaf of the Box Plant to stop hungry caterpillars.
UPDATE-1: 14/06/2024. WOW!, slowly but surely the box is showing some life, very small amount, but I hope it’s a good start, I’m impressed, I thought the bottom half of my box was a gonna, fingers crossed a?
UPDATE-2: I can’t believe how fantastic this stuff is. The whole length of the Box on both sides has recoered by at least 80%, and still coming back. It would be wise to brush the dead areas before applying. and when the Box comes back. To help encourage the Box back to it’s health, I threw some Growmore under the Box and watered it in, so as to give it a good slow release feed as it comes back. Its done the trick. The funny thing was, I actually saw a Box Tree Moth, whitish grey with light brown edges around it’s wings. I think it was having a bad time, lol. Soon be time for a second dose. What a relief.
Update 3: WARNING!!!! It is very very important to spray the ‘NEW’ growth. The Moth likes nothing more than fresh grown leaves. sprayed all my new growth and flushed an egg laying Moth out from it. My Box was near death, I kid you not and what a pleasant surprise after three to four weeks, watching the new growth coming back.
