A useful spare remote, without special Netflix or Samsung TV buttons
My Samsung TV remote has two main problems: I am always misplacing it somewhere, and I keep hitting one of the special-purpose buttons by mistake, dropping me out of whatever I am watching and into a service I am not interested in. I don’t even subscribe to Netflix, so why would I ever need a dedicated button on a TV remote for it!
This low-cost universal remote solves both my problems. A spare remote for when the other one goes missing, and no dedicated buttons to get in the way. Job done!

Brought a second hand Samsung tv with no remote brought this and it works perfect literally just had to put batteries and it worked didn’t need to pair it with my tv . For the money it’s great value very light weigh
Works straight out the box!
This universal remote is a fantastic replacement for my Samsung TV. It worked right out of the box with no programming needed, which was a relief. The buttons are responsive and feel just like the original remote. The build quality is sturdy, and it’s made from durable materials. For the price, it’s a great deal, especially considering it works with various Samsung models. I’m very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone needing a reliable remote replacement.
Works perfectly - so cheap!
Bought to replace one on an old Samsung telly. Thought it was risky given the price but it’s perfectly fine and works great. Maybe a bit lighter and more flimsy than the official one but who needs a heavy remote?
Useful Spare Or Replacement Remote
I ordered this as a replacement for an older Samsung 40″ LCD TV, where a couple of buttons on the original remote had become unresponsive. This one does the job fine.
It feels lighter than the original, and the buttons are a little less smooth in operation, but they all work correctly including the two unresponsive (on the original remote) buttons.
You’ll need 2xAAA batteries (not included). It is a different shape to my original remote, but still has a similar look/theme. Most importantly it works perfectly, and is ideal as a replacement or spare remote.
Works fine with Samsung QE65QN95A
Works fine with Samsung QE65QN95A – I saw many reviews saying it does not work with their TV’s, so there is obviously some issue with the “All Samsung TV” comment, however, at such a low price, I decided it was worth a try. It doesn’t come with batteries, but again for the low price, I cannot complain. It is easy to see straight away that this is a budget controller, it is quite a bit lighter than the real Samsung ones. However, I brought this as a spare as remotes always go missing in our house, down the side of chairs, kids taking them to another room etc, so having multiple around is a must. This works seamlessly with my TV. Some of the buttons have slightly different descriptions to my Samsung remote, but it’s easy to see what they are, plus all of the buttons are in the same place. This does not have dedicated buttons for Netflix and prime, but again, it’s a spare and a very cheap one. I would recommend it to anyone who has the same TV as me, but given the negative reviews, others may need to be wary, or take the risk and return it. I am very happy due to the price.
