Good buy
I have been using this adaptor on a 2018 Macbook Pro and so far all the ports seem to work fine in a “plug & play” fashion. If this work for a power-hungry Macbook, it will work for anything! The HDMI port has been used to connect to an external monitor without problems and the USB C port allows through power to keep the laptop charged. The adaptor came in a gunmetal grey which matches the finish on more modern Macbooks. Not a bad buy for ~22

I used this with a couple of MacBooks and a Samsung Android device.
The claimed features worked as expected on them all:
Power Pass-through
Plugging a wall charger into the dock it passes power through and I was able to fast-charge Apple/Samsung devices (you plug it into the usb slot that is furthest from the blue light).
HDMI
Worked perfectly with Mac and with Samsung Dex, no weirdness with connections or picture, audio pass-through worked perfectly on both slots
USB
I was able to sling 25gb folders around between my devices without it getting slow/annoying, so USB3 seems to check out. Also, I used a number of different devices with both Apple and Samsung devices and they were all fine:
– powered and unpowered external disks
– mouse and keyboard
– USB game controller
In terms of the look and feel of the device, It’s a sleek brushed aluminium finish, a bit darker than Space Gray (I uploaded a picture for comparison) but it’s very much in keeping with Apple style design – it is nicer looking and cheaper than my roughly equivalent Belkin dock. It’s nicely built, small and lightweight (t’s a bit longer than a macbook air’s mouse pad is wide), and the braided cable and solid usbc connector seem like they will last.
Additionally works well for gaming controllers when streaming games to a tablet/laptop.
Overall it does exactly what it says on the tin with no gaps. Recommended

Amazing USB-C hub. Love it it has many options and support PS charging up to 100W. Multiple USB ports 3 USB-A and 1 USB-C port and 1 USB-C port which support PD charging. Two HDMI PORTS 4K up to 30Hz only (such a shame not at least 60Hz or 120HZ) but still ok for general use. Very light and sturdy build. Case is metal + plastic and connector is made from metal + plastic. Braided cable not too long but also enough to do the job. They could include ethernet connector and 4K ports could be at least 60Hz or 120HZ. Thank you.
