It's fun to watch through the little birds through the transparency. Great value.
Each of the four feeders is individually placed in a bubble wrap bag with its own packet of two perches and three plastic suction cups.
The plastic they are made from is a nice thickness. They’re a good size and hold a reasonable amount of bird seed, sunflower seeds, meal worms or whatever you would want to fill them with.
They each have two small drainage holes in the front seam of the underside which allow any rainwater to drain away, and these work really well.
There is a plastic roof which offers a certain amount of protection from the elements. The perches are easy to clip on and can be placed anywhere on the rim.
The back of each feeder has three holes. These can be fitted with the suction cups to attach them to glass or, alternatively, slotted over screws and attached to a wall or other solid surface. You could also use the holes to tie the feeders to something.
Overall, I think that these feeders are great value and do their job well.
Great Value
My Father In-law loves watching birds, When this 4 pack came up at 14 I had to get it.
The quality of the the materials is very good and was so easy to set-up on his windows. I’ve watched my Father In-law spend hours looking out of his window watching what birds have come to eat. This is a great value product and very happy.
4 bird box feeders
Great idea for people who live in flats or want to keep the birds safe from cats
East to set up and use all you need to do is clean the window you want to use this on then add the suction cups and the little poles for the birds to perch on then stick to the window and add some seeds
4 in a pack, so lots of choices where to put them
finally a place where I can feed the birds without the secret squirrels stealing all their food.
The suction cups seem strong enough, but as we haven’t had any birds on there yet I can’t comment on their effectiveness when multiple birds are feeding.
Many of these type of feeders suffer from the fact that the suction cups don’t last and they then fall off the window. Am hoping that the 3 large cups with this feeder manage to stay the course.
Nice size, and a nice easy setup, the rods that come with these bird houses are a struggle to attach and feel like I was going to break them when trying to push fit them,
So we went without the rods,
Nice quality plastic, looks good on the windows, As you get 4 of them I have managed to add them to various windows and can’t wait for the birds to start feeding.
Would recommend, especially for those in flats or without gardens.
A safety line maybe beneficial, I used fishing line.
The ‘WLLKOO Window Bird Feeder 4 Pack, with 4 Rod, Small Acrylic Window Bird Feeder with Strong Suction Cups and Drain Holes 5.9×2.4×5.9 in’ arrived in a plain box.
I have installed one of these on our kitchen window to replace an older design, as the window is in bright sun for a good part of the day, I have used a bit of fishing line as a safety line to limit the feeders fall as if the suction cups loose suction the feeder will shatter on the concrete below.
I did find the perches, hard to install by just pushing over the plastic edge, I ended up opening the attachement point to allow easier fitment. I have since removed them as they may attract the wrong birds, so for the moment the birds are sitting on the edge of the feed area.
Although there are two small drain holes at the front a few more may have been beneficial.
It would have been nice if instructions had been included for the novice user explaining how to install these feeders and how to clean and maintain them.
Simple plastic bird houses - excellent value for money
While one might argue these are simply put together, they are definitely fit for purpose and an absolute bargain at the asking price. I already have a few plastic/acrylic window feeders that singularly were 3x the cost of these.
I do question the longevity of the rubber suckers that fix the feeder to the window. I did find them quite hard and not as supple as I would have liked – time will tell if they remain fixed or if they feeder drops off the window. If the latter happens, with the weight of the feed inside it would definitely break.
I am tempted to buy some different suckers to ensure longevity.
However, it would be unfair to mark down the 5 star rating just on the “possibility” of failure – but I will update this listing should it fail.
Cannot fault the asking price.
4 separate bird feeder stations
This is four separate bird feeder stations. The photo looks like two sets of two bird boxes but they’re all separate.
They’re made from clear acrylic and stick to the window. We haven’t put too much seed in to start with just to see how they stick to the window and they’re stayed put so far.
They seem good value for four bird boxes.
good but no seed protectio
I do like these as they are well made but have little seed protection, and with the more rubbish weather coming, that means more seed waste. However, good drainage and look really good. I do have a cat and so have put mine on the lest used by him window, so they are happy and so is he or he gets all furious. Well made and feel substantial too.
Incredible bird feede
My kids love this bird feeder. We have it set up in the garden and can see the activity during the day as the birds arrive to feed. It has been a wonderful way to get my kids involved with nature.
Attractive, weighty and effective
These are lovely to look at and work well to keep squirrels at bay. As with other designs we own, the seed is not well protected from the rain, which is a shame, but there is good drainage and, so far, all is well. It looks reasonably easy to clean and sterilise, too.
