A company who seem to care about their products post sale
For the “average” purchaser, I’m sure their eyes start to glaze over when they consider all the options required when purchasing a new computer, in my case, a laptop.
I had never heard of MAXLEGEN before, but I have so far very much liked the product and the after-sales service I have received.
My new laptop is a big step up from my last, so I am looking forward to testing it to the limits. I’m sure it will pass with flying colours. More to the point, I have great confidence in the company should I encounter any problems!

After 48 hours of ownership.
For the price, I wasn’t expecting much, but after a couple days of using this laptop, I have to say I’m impressed. Well built, good specs, and very quiet. Ticks all the boxes, so far.
Good value
The laptop is great value and works well. The charging cable and mouse seem cheap whilst the machine itself looks up market. The link to register for guarantee doesn’t work so hopefully no problems. Great value fort the spec.
99.9% GREAT MAXLEGEN LAPTOP
Honest opinion is that I would buy this again! Yes its a great laptop for me.
I did not want to spend hundreds as its just for my own pleasure. I read about it and read some of the reviews, Seeing as I was to get a further 80 off voucher it made this a really good deal. YES I made the right choice! Getting started was easy it more or less done it itself! Its 15.6 is great and picture quality is very good. It picked up my wireless printer and my other additional accessories with ease. It is nice to look at but also the key pad is simple and the large buttons and the lay out just makes it more attractive.
SO do I have a negative! YES but nothing that has put me off. I have 2 buttons that give me the wrong characters, So that was simple to work out. The top number button 2 @ shows as 2 ” so you press the ” button and it gives you the @ Number 3 gives you the sign instead of #
Once you realise this small mistake then it stops being a problem! That’s why I give this laptop 99.9%
I have seen this selling at almost 600! But hey do your homework and read the reviews.
Top – Middle – Basic, I would place this middle and if you are a student then this will be a perfect addition for your studies or working from home and zoom meetings. I paid extra for a new mouse as the one that comes with this is a little cheapy but still worked perfectly fine. Hope this review gives you some help on deciding. All this review typed by my new laptop without any problems 🙂

i’m not technically minded..but for 300quid I’m not complaining. Think it’s U.S. keyboard cos there’s no Pound sign but a can live wi’ that…does everything I need so….
This laptop has got everything you need, dual Band Wi-Fi, blue tooth, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD, fantastic screen resolution 1920*1080 pixels ideal for Teams, 3.4GH so really fast, lots of different ports. It has it all. Very stylish laptop which looks a lot bigger than 15.6″ wide view screen, It is so good, especially for the price, when I showed my daughter she decided she is going to buy one too.
With 16GB of RAM, multitasking is seamless. I can have multiple applications open without a hitch, making it perfect for both work and play. The 256GB SSD ensures that everything runs lightning-fast, from boot-up to loading applications.
The 15.6-inch screen is vibrant and clear, making movies, videos, and even spreadsheets look fantastic. It’s a joy to watch Netflix and YouTube on this laptop.
The laptop feels sturdy and well-built. The keyboard is comfortable to type on, and the touchpad is responsive.
Despite its powerful specs, this laptop is surprisingly lightweight. It’s easy to carry around, whether I’m heading to a caf or just moving from room to room at home.
Arrived the next day, the laptop was very easy to set up, there’s nothing much to do, windows 11 was installed, I signed into my M/Soft account and that was that. I also have M/S 365 on my pc and so I could add all the apps onto the laptop for no additional cost, Onedrive then updates files between the two. There is two USB slots a mini HD, head phone jack (very nice) SD card reader and one other jack (not sure what it is yet). It runs very smoothly, with my usage, the battery seems to last about 2.5 hours. Power supply and small mouse included and it also has a webcam. For this price it is ridiculously good, the spec is very impressive, 16gb of ram is particularly nice. It runs lightroom ok but I guess it would struggle with the latest games but then you have to spend a lot of money for a proper gaming laptop. This is fine for everyday stuff and so on that basis it is highly recommended.
