Simple nice basic device
Works perfectly, does all what need and plenty of space. Only issues is on 4 k video playback. It can be very slow due to integrated graphic card slow processing rendering
Not grea
Thought I`d buy this to update from my desktop tower, gives more space and the reviews seemed positive.
Ok the initial set up took about an hour with stops and starts as you`d expect. However for the last 6 hours on and off there are more updates needed and more stops and starts. There also seems to be a conflict with my mouse, it lags and locks all the time.
Plug in a USB hub as 4 ports aren`t enough and it doesn’t seem to like it at all.
Microsoft then bombard me with messages about other people logging it to my system. I`ll keep trying and hope things work out, if not, then it will be back the tower. Not entirely satisfied so far.
Great value
Great customer service from the seller. The first unit sent had a faulty power supply and wouldn’t power up but a replacement was sent and this works great. Initial boot up and updates take about 30 mins then it’s good to go.
It’s early days but, this little machine is fantastic. Plug it in, switch it on and boom, you’re away. It’s that easy. I nearly spent hundreds more on a traditional desktop but you hardly notice it and it’s so fast. In all honesty, I would have been happy if I’d paid twice the amount. It’s a real bargain and compared to a big unit, I’d take this all day long. There’s only one thing to be aware of, there’s no VGA connection so you’ll need a monitor with an adapter or hdmi. It’s absolutely silent and so small that it fits anywhere. I love it so far.
This is a cost effective and yet powerful Windows 11 pc. Dont be put off by the tiny size, 5.75″ across and 1.75″ deep and yes it does get a little hot.
Make sure you have fully installed all Windows updates before loading any apps. I’ve loaded microsoft office pro as well as all my regular apps and everything runs fast and fine.
I intend to add the 2.5″ 2T SSD storage which I’m researching.
For home use this pc is all I need and so I’m very satisfied.
The machine itself is remarkably small, very neat.
Initial set up as others have said is a bit slow, but once all updates etc are done the machine’s performance is very good – booting up in well under 5 seconds. It performs well and, to date, has run everything I have thrown at it.
I have only run one monitor from it, but it’s a great feature that it can take up to three.
It does get a bit warm, but to be fair as it is a fanless unit (so silent in use) that is only to be expected.
A silly little niggle, it comes with the necessary to wall mount it, which is great, but if you did then the logo on its case would be upside down! A silly little mistake, which is nothing in the scheme of things, but takes a bit of a shine off it.
Otherwise, a very competent and well priced little machine. Would certainly buy more of them in the future.
I read some of the reviews about this, and did a bit of research on Google about the N95 processor. I also searched ebay for some pc’s with i7 processors, all these were refurbished of course. Refurbished can come with risks imp, just how old are those components? Kinda like getting a clocked car.
I was tied up about this but in the end, the small size format and of course the fact that the unit was brand new, together with the specification swung it for me really.
I found the setup a doddle, not fast (about 40 minutes all told), but if you do what you’re told, carefully, it works.
The result is a Windows 11 pc that boots up in about 20 seconds, has16gb RAM and a chunky SSD drive. Options include adding a memory card in the available slot and multiple hdmi sockets, use if you want.
I was able to set it up with my Office 365 account and then set up most of my contacts, desktop options etc.
The consensus is that it isn’t a games machine. I say go get an xbox for that. I purchased this so that I can surf the Web, use spreadsheets and word processing and act as a medium for storing and uploading the family holiday photos. It’s a very different requirement and it works well for me. It’s nice and fast for the things I want it to do and doesn’t sit there on the floor as a heavy, unmanageable base unit. It’s just simple, minimal fuss computing without the geeky extras I never wanted in the first place!
I got the DreamQuest Mini Pc to complement my new computer setup because I prefer a minimalistic look on my work desk. With dimensions of just 5.45″ x 5.45″ x 1.53″ and weighing only 1.16 lbs, it fits perfectly and is easy to take with me on business trips. It was incredibly simple to set up – just “plug and play.” Just be sure to not turn off your PC during the installation process, which took only a few minutes.
To expand the storage, I added a 2.5″ SSD and chose the Seagate BarraCuda from Amazon (which I also recommend and will review later).
The mini PC boasts multiple connectivity ports including USB, HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet, TF card and audio 3.5mm, making it versatile enough to connect various devices like mouse, keyboard, stereo and headset as well as monitors, projector and printer.
Transfer speeds are impressive which is crucial role for work and means that I can work quickly and efficiently leading to smoother performance and quicker turnaround times for my clients. The image quality is on point as well, although I’ve not had a chance to test for gaming yet, but based on the specs and performance with other tasks, I’m sure it’ll have no problems handling gaming with ease.
I simply love this device which looks both sleek and stylish on my new glass-topped work desk. It’s a really good system at a budget-friendly price.
