    Perfect For My Pi4
Yes, I ordered this for a Pi 4… I know, madness right? Well, no.
Considering how much those still go for and that at some point I will be adding Pi 5’s to my homelab, why would I keep ordering adapters for what are not compatible with Pi 5’s down the line?

Note, I bought a bunch of Pi 4’s a while back as boards only. So no PSU’s or cases, hence why I’ve been on the hunt for PSU’s.

This particular one works just fine. No issues at all and happy to recommend.

    Decent Power Supply
Trying to get a normal off the wall power supply for a Pi 5 is nearly impossible as most available do not output the 5.1V 5A that is required, this on the other hand does.

I requested this for my new Pi 5 that I had coming and I’m very pleased to say that when I received it this powered it fine and has been doing so for the past 3 weeks with no problems at all. Only thing I wish is that there was an inline switch on the lead to switch the Pi completely off without taking the plug out.

The price at the time of review is 14.99 which I think is comparable to others that are available.

Good power supply with enough juice to power a Pi 5. Also has PD for charging phones etc
This review is for “Raspberry Pi 5 Power Supply, 5.1V 5A 27W PD Power Supply AC/DC Adapter USB-C Raspberry Pi Power Supply for Raspberry Pi 5.”

Good power supply with enough power (27W) to keep a Raspberry Pi running smoothly. Its handy to have PD built in as that means I can use it to quick charge a phone safely Ifg I’m not using it for the Pi. No complaints, and I rate it five stars. The price at the time of review was around 15 which is fair value.

Raspberry Pi 5 Power Supply, 5.1V 5A 27W PD Power Supply AC/DC Adapter USB-C Raspberry Pi Power Supply for Raspberry Pi 5
    Model: HD-PD27W-GBL

A power supply with the same output specifications as the original Pi5PSU.

Like the Pi5 PSU, this PSU has Power Delivery which means that it is suitable for various devices as well as the Pi5 as long as it meets their maximum power requirements.

The PSU worked well when I tried it in my Pi5, with no problems. I also tried it in a Pi4 with the same results. As expected, it also worked OK (via a USB-C to micro USB-A adapter) with Pi Picos.

This power supply looks well built and has a good quality cable which should avoid any voltage drop.

A versatile Pi5 Gan charger with PD protocol to power other items.
Review of Raspberry Pi 5 Power Supply, 5.1V 5A 27W PD Power Supply AC/DC.

We are told this designed to supply power to the Raspberry Pi5, that 5.1v, 5amp, 27w which this charger does, however this also a PD charger giving various voltages up to 15v at 1.8amp so capable of powering many other devices.

I must admit to not expecting a charger capable of powering anything other than a Raspberry Pi5, this adapter fitted with power delivery, multiple safety features and EU/UK certifications, not only is it small and neat it is a Gan charger giving it superior features and a cool body when charging items.

The output cable also well built with 18Awg wiring, 1200mm in length and fitted with a USB Type “C” plug enabling connection to multiple phones and equipment all controlled by the P.D protocol.
This not designed as a fast charger more to deliver the higher 5amp current required by the Raspberry Pi5 however it will power other devices via P.D although only to the maximum 27w output.

A well designed mains wall charger that works with multiple items and the exact power required for operation of a raspberry Pi5, well worth owning.
