Good compressor to keep in the boot along with the canister of gunk. The compressor works fine by itself, for those that didn’t know. It is actually cheaper to buy the two items separately, but purchased here just to get the bag. Easy to use and store.
I bought this item to replace the kit supplied with my car when I bought my car brand new. I recently had a puncture and it was then I realised that the manufacturers’ kit was single use only. A replacement kit was in excess of 100. The kit I have now bought through Amazon can be used a number of times, with new gas/fluid canisters, as the gas/fluid does NOT go through the pump on the way to the tyre, but directly to the tyre. I haven’t used the new kit yet, and frankly hope it will not be necessary, but it arrived promptly, was well packaged, and in terms of design and operating procedures is miles better than the car manufacturers’ design. In terms of functionality and cost it is a no-brainer. Recommended.
Nice like kit to have in the boot of your car. I have this and amongst a few trivial tools, a jump pack which has been invaluable. It’s a little slow to inflate a 17″ car tyre, but the compressor/pump is really small so no big deal. Just hit the power button and monitor the bar/psi.
Both have been handy to have, not only to me, but to my neighbour who was stranded due to a dead battery.
More people than ever have breakdown cover. That’s mainly due it being bundle in many car insurance policies.
However, as I and a neighbour found out with both of us being with the big two: AA and Green flag. The wait times were hours, not minutes or within a hour.
My point, have at least the basics to get your car going if it breaks down. If your not going to get riot car services regularly, at least check your fluids.
