The product description mentions a reliable handle. I must say that at first it didn’t seem very sturdy and as a result I’ve never actually touched it in case it fell off. But I must say that it’s never failed so far even though it’s never been used therfore I must agree it really is very reliable.

Well worth the money keeps ice cold and keeps top up when empty not top up the water yet seems to last good bit had to get smaller fridge from my American fridge that had ice maker so this life save

Geschwindigkeit: Es ist beeindruckend, wie schnell die ersten Wrfel fertig sind. Schon nach ca. 6-8 Minuten fallen die ersten “Bullets” in den Korb. Fr den schnellen Eiskaffee am Morgen oder spontanen Besuch ideal.
Kompaktes Design: Die Maschine ist angenehm klein und nimmt auf der Arbeitsplatte kaum Platz weg. Trotzdem ist die Kapazitt fr einen normalen Haushalt vllig ausreichend.
Einfache Bedienung: Wasser einfllen, Start drcken, fertig. Die Sensoren funktionieren tadellos — die Maschine beendet die Produktion, wenn der Eisbehlter voll ist oder Wasser nachgefllt werden muss.
Geruschpegel: Ich war berrascht, wie leise sie arbeitet. Man hrt ein dezentes Summen, aber es ist absolut nicht strend, selbst wenn man daneben steht.
Fazit: Eine schicke, schnelle und zuverlssige Maschine, die genau das tut, was sie soll. Wer keine Lust mehr auf Tten-Schleppen oder fummelige Eiswrfelformen hat, wird dieses Gert lieben!
This is the second one of these I have purchased. The last one lasted 3 years. But now having read the rather sketchy instructions, I may have had something to do with it’s demise. I have read you must wait 24 hours before turning it on. Not true. Just an hour. I was cleaning mine by taking it into the kitchen, giving it a clean, then switching it back on. I should have waited the hour. The instructions say to clean it, fill it, then empty via the drain plug on the base. Which I will do from now on. It also has a Self Cleaning function, which I’ll try. But all this rather puts the “Portable” in doubt! I paid an extra 20.00 for this model. Turns out to be identical to my old one! In conclusion. It makes ice and should last at least 3 years!
