Easy set up , good quality picture and sound and area of camera view and video is great, don’t forget the SD card which you have to get separately and whilst setting up make sure you put it on solar panel mode as one found out the hard way. Value for money and you don’t have keep charging which is a huge plus.
Purchased for my parents house to watch out for a squirrel in the loft. Great battery, great quality, easy to setup BUT it did fail to catch the squirrel wandering round. I’d definitely recommend though as it’s great for capturing humans
If you’re looking for a new camera system, look no further. I’ve had Blink cameras for years, and they’re awful—outdated and unreliable. The motion detection is poor, and powering them is expensive since you have to buy specific batteries that cost around 15 for four, and they don’t last nearly as long as advertised.
Tapo cameras, on the other hand, are a game changer. Mine are installed in both low and high sunlight areas, and they charge without any issues. The colour night vision is excellent and works really well. They’re also placed in high-traffic areas and never run out of power.
Installation and setup are quick and straightforward, and all the features work exactly as they should. If you’re considering Tapo, go for it—they’re brilliant.

Aplicao muito fcil. A app da Tapo muito intuitiva e permite gerir vrias cmaras em simultneo. O nico ponto fraco que por ser uma cmara a bateria no possvel fazer gravao contnua, apenas grava quando h deteo de movimento.
Love it, works seamlessly with Alexa and it’s half the price of an Amazon camera. The picture is excellent and as it has its own solar panel I haven’t had to charge it yet. I did install an Amazon one in the garden at the same time and I’ve had to charge that one and the same time period. It’s incredibly easy to install and there’s even a template to know where to drill. ( essential for a woman with little drilling experience )
Bought two of these (one for my daughter) for a bit of added security in the garden. Good piece of kit, reasonable price easy to install good picture quality. Easily linked to the app as we already have tapo doorbell cameras. Works just as good if not better than the more expensive ones
