Easy set up
Impressed – had a mate fit it however the remote that sets it up is easy and instructions are straight forward – much better than the manual buttons on the old unit
Very bright and ideal for front of house.
Decent outdoor PIR light. Not the brightest, but has a nice soft light rather than the ‘blind the intruder’ type. Nice that it is controlled by a remote, as i’ve never managed to understand how those three little dials work on regular floodlights. I chose this particular light because it’s colour temperature can changed – i wanted warm to match my Ring Floodlights.
Installation is easy – easier still because of it’s design – you wire the base plate in, and then the main part slots, with small sockets and pins, onto the base, making the final connections itself, so no fiddly wiring one half to the other.
No bad feedback.
Excellent brightness, PIR sensor works well and is easily adjusted to suit needs, simple to install, remote control for altering settings is useful, overall a very good quality product that has been working now for several months.

This is the 25 Watt remote control version.
I bought this light to replace an existing light which was faulty and could not be opened for repair.
Note that it is also not possible to open this light if anything goes wrong. Very annoying these days when we are supposed to be conserving resources.
I foud fitting very easy. The unit comes with a back plate which is screwed to the wall and has a terminal block for the incoming mains wiring. The unit fixes to the base and has 3 prongs which plug into the terminal block to complete the connection.
My unit did not require an earth but the terminal block does have a position to park the earth wire if your incoming cable has an earth.
Note that the base is designed so that the wire comes through the wall behind the base rather like a doorbell button. There is no facility for the wire coming along the wall and into the side of the base. If you have existing wiring as in my case this could be a problem.
Once fitted the light is very easy to set up. I especially like the remote control so that I don’t have to get a ladder out to alter the settings.
Light is bright enough for my garden and the brightness and colour temperature can be set as well as detection modes and how long the light stays on if in timed mode.
All in all a very nice light.
