Great little camera, great price in prime day sale. I also bought an SD card and a compatible solar charger. The battery on the wireless camera stays pretty much fully charged with the morning sun so I dont have to worry about charging the camera up (probably ever!)

The camera was easy to set up and link to wifi and the only trouble I had was attaching the pivot mount to the back of the camera…after I watched a youtube tutorial it turns out I just wasn’t forceful enough! You really do have to apply a fair bit of pressure to it, which i didnt want to do at first as I didnt want to break it. Took me a while to figure out the settings for detecting the things I wanted and despite selecting a specific area of the cameras view to monitor motion, waving leaves outwith the area still set it off so I disabled the ‘motion’ detector and settled for human, vehicle and pet detection (who knew i had 500 starlings as pets ) and im now happy with the settings.

The only reason im giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because quite often when I try to delete some of my many videos it won’t delete them and I have to try later. Unsure what the issue is because my fibre wifi is faultless and the camera is nearer the router than my phone or tv.

All in all this camera was slightly cheaper than a similar ring camera but this one won out because I didnt need a costly subscription which would only increase when I add more cameras. I will certainly be getting another eufy, probably the exact same as this one for my back garden.

Golden Review Award: 1 From Our UsersGreat little camera - excellent night visio
Great piece of kit. We already use eufy cameras and wanted this for indoors that we can move from room to room when we are away. The magnetic base is great to be able to attach to metal surfaces without any screwing.

We got this in a prime deal for 40 and well worth it. Excellent night vision

Just to note you cannot make the camera move from the app like you can with some eufy cameras but you can adjust it by pivoting it manually

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersGood kit.
Bought to add to existing EUFY setup. Simple to add to the system and works well. Battery is decent. Depending on recording settings it can last up to 3 months. Easy to take down and charge. Image quality is good. Detection is decent (most of the time) but as with all EUFY cameras there is a few second delay from detection to notification.

Fantastic camera. Easy to install with good quality picture.

Very good picture quality and connected to the WiFi straight away. Motion detection – can be easily set to your own preference including a pet and vehicle setting. Purchased the solar charger also and this works a dream so there’s no need to charge from the mains.

Screws and fittings provided and the camera is very secure on the mounting bracket or it can be used magnetically.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersGreat little camera
This is a discrete little camera with excellent battery life. It offers good options to save videos, picture and sound. Picture quality is great both day and night. It’s working well through a glass window facing outside which has saved the bother of having to mount it outside. Very impressed and love the app you use with it. Simple and effective.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersStrong pick for home security
I bought the SoloCam C210 to add to my existing Eufy security cameras bundle to capture all angles of my property. The picture quality on this camera is excellent, the 2K resolution delivers sharp, clear footage whether it’s day or night, which gives me confidence that the camera will pick up relevant details (like people walking up the driveway or someone approaching the house). The advance AI seems to work very well from my experience, it seems to only pick up when a person walks up my drive so I’m not being notified of every little movement.

Installation was also impressively easy. I already had the Eufy app from my current set up so all I had to do is add this camera to the app and connect it to my WiFi. I then mounted it outside with the included mount and screws and it was up and running in minutes. No complicated wiring, which is a real plus if you don’t want to deal with a full CCTV setup.

You can see any footage recorded through the Eufy app and anything recorded is stored for free on the built in 8GB storage, which is around 3 months worth of footage. No additional subscription fees like some other security cameras on the market.

The only downside to these eufy battery cameras is the battery life can be a bit hit or miss depending on how often the camera triggers. In ideal conditions, you get a few months per charge, but frequent motion or checking the live feed tends to drain it faster, so it’s something you need to keep an eye on if you want continuous coverage.

Overall if you want a straightforward, wireless, and subscription-free outdoor security camera that gives good video quality and decent smart detection, then the Eufy SoloCam C210 is a very good option.
