Is HomeBase necessary to receive notifications?
Yes. The sensor uses efficient Sub-1G communication with HomeBase to maximize battery life. HomeBase relays the sensor’s message to you via the internet. Now compatible with both HomeBase S380 and S280.
What is the maximum operating distance from the listener to HomeBase?
The maximum operating distance is 200 meters.
What is included in the box?

Why is it called a ‘listener”?
Because it does not detect smoke directly. It listens for the sound of existing smoke alarms and alerts you if they are heard.

Luid alarm om inbrekers af te schrikke
Omdat ik al een aantal Eufy-camera’s in gebruik heb, zocht ik een manier om het alarmsignaal goed hoorbaar te maken naast de app-notificatie. Een inbreker moet immers ook afgeschrikt worden. Deze eufy Security Sirene is daarvoor de perfecte uitbreiding.
De installatie via de app was binnen een minuut gebeurd. Hij koppelde moeiteloos met mijn HomeBase 3. In de app kun je eenvoudig automatiseringsregels instellen, zodat de sirene direct afgaat zodra een van de camera’s of bewegingsmelders personen detecteren.
Met 105 dB is het geluid behoorlijk hard en indringend; dit schrikt eventuele ongewenste gasten direct af. Ik heb hem binnen hangen, maar als je heb buiten hangt (hij heeft immers IP-65-certificering), dan horen de buren het ook meteen.
De batterijduur belooft 2 jaar mee te gaan, wat erg fijn is omdat je er lange tijd geen omkijken naar hebt. Ik heb hem al ruim een jaar in gebruik en hij lijkt die belofte waar te maken. Ik heb nog geen batterij hoeven vervangen.
Voor deze prijs een onmisbare upgrade voor je beveiliging.
Was hunting for it for awhile while and read very mixed reviews until i decided to buy it and i dont regret. Very solid and sturdy item. Regarding the sound, well yes its not that loud what you would expect but to be honest its loud enough in the quite night. So yes very good. Price, you have to hunt for a sale.

I like you can amend the sound level as it is loud which is exactly what I wanted.

I needed something to sound an alarm outside if something triggered my shed PIR sensors…this is just the job.
Paired with the Eufy app within seconds and after setting the app to sound the siren if wither of the PIR’s were triggerd the siren was good to go.
Using the template provided it was easy to drill the holes to mount the siren on the outside wall next to the shed.
I tested it by triggering the PIR in the shed and the alarm is more than loud enough to do the job as intended.
Quality feels good and with a 2 year battery life it’s just what I needed. 100% recommend.
This siren is a big step up from the Eufy home base alarm — it’s noticeably louder and makes the system feel much more effective. I really appreciate that you can add multiple sirens through the Eufy app, which is great if you want alarms both inside and outside, or on different floors for better coverage. While it’s not the loudest alarm I’ve ever heard, it’s more than sufficient for most 2–3 bedroom homes. Id class it about the same loudness/ possibly slightly louder than a standard house fire alarm. Definitely a worthwhile addition to your Eufy setup so I highly recommend.
I was reluctant to purchase the siren after the reviews I have seen for the product, but I was pleasantly surprised. The siren is quite loud, but of course, it could do to be louder in some circumstances. Indoor use, you won’t have a problem with at all, but outdoor use, it can be a little too quiet depending how loud an environment you live in. If you want to make the most of this siren outside, you need multiple, but they are quite affordable for the most part. They released this product originally with a sound that was more like a reversing truck than an actual alarm, but I can say it has since been updated and now sounds like the product it’s supposed to be. The settings in the eufy app for this siren are quite lacking; not that an alarm needs that many features, but after initial setup, there isn’t even a way to test the loudness without setting off a trigger. At least they have fixed the alarm delay. There is only low and high options, and it is automatically set to low by default. So if you think it is too quiet, do check the settings options first. I will be getting more of these to put outside, both front and back of my house. It is IP65 weather resistant, not waterproof like the rest of their products, so be careful where you decide to place it. But it’s well worth it’s money, and I am impressed
