Does this camera support 5G Wi-Fi?
No, it only works with 2.4G Wi-Fi.
Can the camera track motion?
It doesn’t have automatic motion tracking, but you can manually control the camera’s view via the app.
How long does the battery last on a single charge?
1-4months. The battery life depends on the times of the camera wakes up. If you use solar panel to charge battery camera, then it will save you hassle of taking it down and plug it into recharge.
Why isn’t the battery charging?
There is no charging indicator light on the camera, you may think it is not charging. Use the type-C cable to charge the camera for a few hours, then turn it on. You can check the charging status in the app once it’s connected.
Can I log in to the camera on two devices at once?
No, but you can share access with up to three people through the Septekon app. They’ll need to register their own accounts first.

Excellent quality. Having the remote solar panel made it easy to mount camera where needed and mount solar panel elsewhere to catch most sunlight. Image quality is excellent. Very happy.
Item delivered in 10 hrs, set-up very simple prior to installation wifi, solar panel doing it’s job, full battery every day, night spot light & alarm if needed, can switch off, night colour vision or b/w your call, excellent quality image wise, motion sensor, can enter timer if required at night, this is very impressive, so much I bought another for the front of the house, you can sleep easily, no worries when you away whatch from anywhere on smart phone, incredible piece of kit, well happy, every home should have one. Value for money garenteed outstanding camera.
Nice little camera, though I only had it one day when it was stolen. Totally my fault , I didn’t put it up high enough. I had suffered thefts of Koi Carp a few days before so bought this and a PIR Spotlight. They thieves came back the night I installed the camera and lights and stole both of them .
Testing the camera, the video quality was good and although it was 50 metres from my house the WiFi signal was fine. Simple to setup, I put a 128gb card in it (also stolen).
Would Def recommend but situate it high enough that thieves can’t access it.
Genuinely very , very impressed with this! Easy enough lot set up and once the app and camera have synced it provides a good picture. It was a tiny bit annoying when syncing the camera with the app, but on the third try it synced and it’s been good ever since. The whole process too less than 15 minutes to even with the 3 separate attempts:
We’ve had it outside in sunny and very overcast weather for the past three weeks and the solar panel has kept the battery sufficiently charged the whole time.
For the money, I think this really is very good value.
Easy to install and set up in the app. Worked first time. Seems to be a bit of inconsistency in the motion sensor that triggers the recording. Otherwise works very well. Clear picture and sound.
Had it set up for a couple of weeks now and I am very impressed.
I was dubious about the small solar panel being able to charge the battery but it’s really surprised me. The battery was on 89% on install day (in a tree, south facing but in the shadow of other, bigger, trees) and it’s currently sitting at 100% (UK, late Oct/early Nov. So not the sunniest!)
It’s on the edge of my WiFi envelope but it copes with a weakish signal and there is very little lag, so the notifications pop through quite quickly and the pan/tilt work just fine.
The picture is crystal clear and excellent day or night. The motion identification is OK but does tend to catch the end of the motion in your clip and not always the start. The adjustable zones are quite basic but work well enough. Storage is via whatever SD card you pop in but it will loop recordings in the settings.
It does mist up (on the outside of the lense) some evenings but that will clear itself up as temperatures equalise.
One big omission is in the connection to the base. It’s a push/pull fit but there is no security screw to lock it on the base! A couple of tip ties sorted that. But you could drill a hole through the stand and base to add your own screw in.
All in all, for the price, it’s a damn goid piece of kit!
