    Strong and dependable ground ancho
There’s little to write home about where product packaging is concerned as the ground anchor comes supplied in simple bubble wrap protecting the anchor and its two holding pegs. There’s no printed instructions, but you can scan a QR code and that takes you to a website that provides an easy to follow installation video.

Everything arrived in great condition and fitting the anchor is very straight forward: Dig a 15cm wide hole (23-30cm deep), fill it with approx 5cm of concrete as a base, install the two holding bars and drop the anchor into the ground with the top protruding a little, then place cement in the hole and all the way around the anchor.

Make sure you’re 100% happy with the position of the anchor as once the concrete has set the two horizontal bars keep the anchor firmly in position, and it’ll take something like a jackhammer to release it.

The anchor is fully painted in black paint which helps stop the anchor rusting beneath the ground for a good while. The anchoring ring is well sized and super sturdy, and a great – anchor – to help lock up a scooter or any garden equipment etc.

Given the sturdy nature and build quality of the anchor it’s reasonably priced, and I’m thinking of buying more for a future project.

Strong anchor but needs proper concrete base
Bought this to secure my motorbike outside. It’s a strong ground anchor that I cemented into the ground.
The size is good – you can fit a large chain through the locking hoop which is what you need for properly securing a bike. The pins slide into the body of the anchor to lock it in place.

One thing to note is it wasn’t as long as I’d originally thought from the product listing. It’s best suited if you’re installing it into an existing concrete pad. If you’re putting it in a driveway or garden area, you’d need to dig a hole and fill it with concrete to give it enough weight and strength. Otherwise it won’t have the holding power you need.

Installation is straightforward if you’ve got the right base for it. Once it’s in and set, it feels sturdy enough to be a good deterrent. Does the job for bike security as long as you install it properly in concrete.

A Very Strong And Well Made Ground Anchor.
I recently installed the XSecure Heavy Duty Motorcycle Ground Anchor and couldn’t be happier. The build quality is outstanding the thick, powder coated steel feels incredibly solid and the all black finish looks smart and discreet in my driveway. Once cemented in, it’s absolutely rock solid with no movement at all.
The 34cm length and extra long locking hoop make it really versatile. It easily fits my chain and gives me plenty of room to secure my bike without awkward angles. Installation was straightforward if you’re comfortable with a bit of DIY, and the end result feels extremely secure.
It’s reassuring to know my motorcycle is properly protected when parked at home. If you’re serious about security for your bike or scooter this anchor is a fantastic investment.
