Impressive camera for the price.picture and sound quality are excelle
The box contains the camera, power adapter, mounting screws, mounting template(which made it really simple to know where to drill the holes)plus the quick start guide.
The camera is quite impressive for the price as it has infrared, indicator light, speaker and the option to insert a memory card( not included)
Set was very simple by scanning the qr code and downloading an app which provided step by step instructions on how to connect to the Internet.
The picture is clear with the hd image quality even at night time when using the infrared, the zoom option is also very good, the speaker is clear and the two way talking works very well although sometimes there can be a bit of a delay but nothing major. The pan and tilt means you can zoom in and directly look at something up close there’s also an option to set an alarm when it detects human movement.it has dual band WiFi,plus cloud ai detection.
The mounting was also straightforward I did it myself, the little template make it so much easier. The power cord is a decent length.
All in all a super camera for the price.
I reccomend
Great low cost security cam + many features, only let down a little by some features as a subs
So ultimately at this cost this 2K camera works really well. The field of view and the fact that you can pan and tilt with the app you install on your phone or tablet make it really easy to use. The functions of motion tracking, motion detection and two way audio are all part of the setup. If you want more advanced features then you would need to purchase a cloud subscription. The camera can also take an SD card that allows you to store the recordings that have triggered the camera i.e. motion and then play them back at a later stage. It is IP66 rated and it comes with a little waterproof connection to help with the installation of the power connector. Note setting up with either WiFi 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz are fairly straightforward (note you’ll have better performance on the 5Ghz frequency).
Like I said at this cost the quality of the image and the playback are top notch and I know you will pay a lot more to get something even close to the equivalent of this.
Good Produc
Arrived well packed and exactly as advertised.
I got this camera to overlook the back garden of a friends because there has been issues there. The camera arrived and was in perfect condition and had all the correct fittings.
Installing the camera was pretty easy and straight forward, it does come with instructions but they are pretty minimal but explain the basics at least. Once fitted and wired it operated perfectly, you do have to install the app which can be found in the instructions and the app is pretty simple to use.
The picture quality is pretty good and sharp but it does tend to lose some of that the more you zoom in but as a standard camera that is used to overlook an area its very good. The night vision does work but not as well as I’d hoped , its kind of limited on how far the night vision sees.
The only downside to this is the subscription it requires to use all its features, you can really do much without the subscription except use it as a live camera, if you have an SD cad in it then you can view some of the hours that day.
Overall a good camera for security but does require a subscription for most of its features.
Pretty good camera
This camera has a good set of features for the price, though there are a couple of limitations to keep in mind. The video quality is really good- the 2K resolution has sharp, detailed footage, and the colour night vision works surprisingly well so it’s easy to identify people or objects in low light. The pan and tilt is a big advantage, as it helps cover a wide area without needing multiple cameras. The motion detection and auto-tracking features are useful for keeping an eye on activity, and instant alerts to your phone add a good layer of security. The two-way audio and built-in alarm system are also practical touches, especially if you want to deter unwanted visitors in real time, although personally I wouldn’t really use them. Connectivity is fine with WiFi support, and having both local (microSD) and cloud storage options gives you flexibility depending on your preference. On the downside, the need for a subscription to unlock full human detection is a drawback, especially when some competing cameras include this as standard. App performance and tracking accuracy can also vary slightly depending on your setup and connection. Overall, it’s a well-rounded and capable security camera that covers the essentials and then some. It’s a great option for general home monitoring, as long as you’re aware of the extra cost for some advanced features.
