    Stylish and practical key storage
A much nicer solution than hiding car keys at the back of a wardrobe somewhere. The box has a smart suede-style finish that looks good in the hallway rather than screaming “security product”, and it’s large enough to comfortably hold several car keys plus a few extras.

Comes with the wall fixings included which is handy, and the signal blocking seems to work as intended. Feels like a sensible bit of added security without looking too ugly or overly industrial.

Nice quality attractive Farraday box for key fob keys
This Faraday box for keys for a car remote control
Or automatic locking and unlocking is lovely quality and as such also really good value. The box is designed to hold 4 sets of keys with hanging hooks for that number . There are two in the top compartment and two in a bottom compartment when the box is mounted on the wall. You will see from the photo that if you bunch of keys is as big as mine you may only get one in each compartment! However obviously all the keys other than the remote control one do not really need to be in the Faraday box but for convenience I will keep all my keys joined together so I need the whole of one section to store my keys.
The exterior of the box is a black suede finish with a neat little silver knob to turn to open and close the box. You can set your own three digit passcode to open and close the box. Rawl plugs and screws are supplied to fix the box to the wall and it is an attractive box and would look smart in most situations. The box itself is relatively shallow so will not protrude too much from the wall. I don’t plan to mount mine on a wall and will just have it on a shelf. In that situation the box obviously becomes portable and you could take it with you if travelling away from home. The box is however relatively heavy and sturdy because of the construction needed to be able to block the signals so you wouldn’t really want to be packing it in a suitcase.
When the box is closed, the square compartments within the outer box create the signal blocking barrier to interception by thieves from outside the building. You therefore need to make sure that you close the door on the box to make sure that your vehicle/key fob is protected. The code is easy to set and instructions are clear.

    Nice looking
I already have faraday pouches for travel, but this faraday box is perfect for home use. Nicely finished in faux leather, it is large enough to hold four sets of keys in their own individual sections in the box, and has a sturdy feel to it, hopefully ensuring it lasts a good while.
The lid has a magnetic catch to hold it shut, along with a thumbwheel security lock for added security. I doubt it would survive an attack with a flat bladed screwdriver but, for domestic use, this box offers a reasonably priced solution to prevent car key relay theft.

A really well made faraday box, but it’s big.
The first impressions when opening the box was the really nice materials and the quality of the finish. It has a really nice feel to it and looks very well put together. The other main impression is that it’s big! You can get an idea of the size in the photograph which shows it against my car key. You get screws and plugs to wall mount it but, to be honest, I’ll use it flat and keep it in a cupboard as it will take up a fair bit of wall space.

The lock and combination are well made and finished and easy to reset. What I was surprised with is that on opening the large box there is not a lot of room for keys. I suppose that is because the key compartments are well protected for RFID signal blocking. There are two compartments that have two hooks in each compartment for keys.

With today’s vehicles and security systems you have to use a faraday box or similar and this will certainly do the job. There are smaller options on the market but this offers the addition of a combination lock and wall mounting. Plus, it’s very well finished.
