Fab little camera for the price! Would recommend!! Motion sensored. Option to record on demand. Ability to zoom in. Can be used indoors and outdoors. Easy app. Decent quality video. Sound is ok, but does have a slight crackle even when there’s no noise. I pay 3.99 a month for the cloud storage but I believe you can use an SD card also to save money.
This is a great camera (I had an extra 5 off so made it even better) for home security. I use it to record my back garden. Quality is great and easy to set up as it’s small enough to place or mount anywhere. You can use a cloud based storage option with subscription or buy a micro SD card like I did 128gb apparently lasts a week but using motion detection is much better. The only downside (for outdoor use) is the power connection being full size USB which forced me to put the camera inside facing out of the window as I wasn’t going to drill a hole big enough to take the fitting and have to seal it up after but saying that it’s good enough placed inside. The app uses Bluetooth to initially detect the camera and then wifi for connection and it’s functions are easy to use.
For the price this is a decent bit of kit.
Easy to set up and install. I have a purchased an SD card for local recording and subscribed to the cheapest cloud storage option. The app is easy to use and ok to navigate. Video and sound playback quality is actually better than my ring doorbell. The live feed is a little laggy but the WiFi on site is sketchy at best, so I don’t know if it’s the camera to app feed, or the poor signal quality. For a cheap workshop CCTV solution I can say that (so far) this is a great option.
