Excellent Mini Camera — Compact, Clear, and Easy to Use!
the camera is incredibly small and discreet. It was very easy to set up, and the battery life is better than I expected.
The AOBOCAM A12 security camera is a compact and discreet option for simple indoor monitoring.
Its small size makes it easy to place almost anywhere without drawing attention. It’s useful for keeping an eye on a room, pets, or general home activity without needing a large visible camera.
The video quality is 1080P, which is clear enough for everyday use. It works reasonably well in normal lighting, and the night mode helps in darker conditions.
Setup is straightforward. Once connected to WiFi, you can view live footage on your phone and receive alerts when motion is detected. This makes it convenient for quick checks when you’re not at home.
I was looking for a small camera for my living room to monitor our dog and this has been a good alternative. It does not take too much space and it can be easily placed anywhere. The quality of the image is good and the most important thing is that I can look what is my dog doing while I am not at home. The installation process is easy, doe not require anything complicated and it comes with a stand which can stay anywhere. It picks up nicely the movement, does not lag and for a small security camera I would say that it does a great job.
The camera that was facing towards the street and was overwhooking the driveway of our house has a broken and I have not really chosen the replacement for it therefore I was looking for some temporaries solution to keep the area monitored at all times, therefore when I saw this small camera I decided that it is gonna be very good to place it from inside onto the window That overlooks the driveway so that I can keep an eye what is going on in front of the house.

Camera has motion detection ability which means that it’s not recording constantly but only when there are any movements, and once the recording is finished I received and notification with ability to view the video on my phone this is very convenient and really has almost the same functionality as my outdoor security camera before. Even though the camera records through the window I was very happy with the quality of the video.

Needed a solid bracket for the AOBOCAM A12 cam watching the back garden and this bit of kit has done the trick. First impression was the weight, it feels like proper alloy not the brittle plastic that cracks after winter.
I fixed it above the shed door last Saturday while my 4 year old “helped” by hiding the pozi driver in the flower bed. The ball joint gave plenty of movement so I could angle the lens down toward the trampoline without moving the base plate at all, handy when you discover you’ve drilled a touch off-centre. And once the collar’s tightened the camera doesn’t drift even with the north-easterly gusts that whip across our lawn. The mounting screws dug cleanly into the timber fascia, though I swapped in slightly longer ones for the masonry on the gatepost later.
Two nights ago we had horizontal rain off the North Sea, bracket’s powder coat hasn’t bubbled and there’s zero wobble in the footage.
Sturdy build, generous adjustability and weather resistance that actually suits Scottish conditions add up to great value for money. I’d happily buy the same bracket again if we extend coverage to the driveway.
Needed a sturdy way to keep an eye on the back garden, especially after the dog excavated yet another escape tunnel. This little AOBOCAM A12 bracket has done the job without fuss.
Made from chunky alloy with a ball joint that swivels a full 360 degrees and tilts almost vertically, it clamped onto the soffit beside the patio light in under ten minutes. I used the supplied screws, though my DIY confidence wobbled when I dropped one into the herb planter, the bracket did not complain. Because the arm extends a touch further than the cheap plastic one I binned, the camera now clears the gutter so nothing blocks the view when Scottish rain starts hammering down.
So far it has shrugged off two hail showers and a football fired by my 10-year-old. No wobble, no rust spots, just a solid hold. For something I fitted on a Sunday before roast prep, the quality feels reassuring and the peace of mind is worth every minute saved not chasing the dog round the street.
