Mini WiFi Spy Camera Hidden Camera – Wireless Indoor Security Cam with Night Vision Long Battery Life/Motion Detection/Real-Time Video/Cloud&SD Storage Indoor Home Monitoring – the small, spy type camera, for longer use would need to be connected via USB-C cable, as the size also mean the battery does not last for long (few hours maybe). App is easy to install and connect, then app sends notifications for motion detection. Small size also means it is a versatile little thing, easy to hide.
This little camera is solid at its job. It connected to the wifi quickly, the phone app was easy to download and install and the two paired up for remote monitoring with ease. I can now keep and I on my workshop 5 miles away when I’m at home, only being alerted on the app when something causes a trigger of the motion.
The camera battery life seems to go all day, although this is down to how many triggers happen. So in my workshop I’ve used a mobile phone charger as a constant power supply. The picture quality is great, very sharp but not ultra high, no more than you need to identify personnel. The camera takes a micro SD card for direct to camera recording and you can view this recorded data remotely on your phone, or you can pay up for cloud service, which I didn’t.
So a very versatile little camera
I got this ESTABA Mini WiFi Security Camera to monitor my home and keep an eye on things while I’m away, and it’s been a surprisingly capable little device.

field of view. Mounting is versatile, thanks to an included bracket that utilises the camera’s 1/4-inch thread.
Setup is straightforward via a mobile app, easily connecting to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, and footage can be recorded directly to a microSD card. The main limitation is the built-in, USB-C rechargeable battery, which only lasts about four hours. Due to this constraint, the ESTABA is best suited as a temporary nanny cam or monitor for quick tasks, rather than a permanent, un-wired security solution. It reliably powers on and reconnects to the network even after the battery has been drained.
This camera is small in size and can be used in various discreet places within my home. This particular one I want to position in the kitchen towards the back door to capture and alert me if someone tried to break in especially as we’re off on our hols soon. The camera only being just about 1.5 inch squared minus the stand means I positioned it within my laundry boxes etc so less likely to be seen or certainly not expected and as that’s were I’ve placed it, to test it out with my partner both in daylight and darkness and his features were clearly captured so I’m safe in the knowledge anyone not welcome could be easily recognised. For such a small camera I’m pleasantly surprised at the clarity both during the day and with night vision along with the notifications of movement on the app which this camera works well. At the time of ordering the cost was 19.99 which is value for money in my personal opinion.
