It’s solid and useful, but doesn’t actually lock? A lock would improve a good design.
This feels really solid and heavy. It is very easy to open, you just slide a button across, though there is no actual lock, which has led to me removing one star. It is called a lock, but isn’t? My antique handles are horizontal though really quite curvy, the bar fitted over them very easily, and closed happily around them. It does stick out both sides, so very visible from outside. However, if a burglar broke the glass, they would be easily able to slide the button, rendering the bar useless and the French doors open. It would be very much improved if there was an actual lock as well as the button, for instance when you go away on holiday to provide real security of mind. I do recommend it, but with the caveat of a lack of lock.

Fantastic Patlock, for French Doors. Simple, Substantial and Sensible
I’ve never seen or heard of a lock like this before, so I’m more than impressed with this one and I wish I’d bought one years ago.

I wasn’t sure what to expect or how to use it, but it’s simple to use and substantial in build and weight.

So it’s not flimsy or lightweight and it acts as an added deterrent from unwanted visitors. And every little helps for the security aspect of my home.

A Patlock a lock for a patio door is a great invention and one that really adds to my peace of mind where home security is concerned.

I have a French door to my conservatory that opens onto the garden.

This Patlock just slips over the two handles and snaps into place.

It’s easy to release it with just the touch of a button, no locks or codes needed.

It’s something that’s so useful for extra security if going away, or even if just out for the day.

I’ve recommended this to my friends and I have no hesitation doing the same here for Amazon shoppers.

A super invention at an excellent price.
