Will this work for a bedroom mirrored sliding doors?
A: Unless the sliding door has a sturdy wooden frame. If the metal frame is too narrow, this lock is not suitable. The mounting holes of the lock are 1.25″ (31.75mm) on center, the width of the lock is 1.75″(44.45mm).
How far does the bolt stick out when locked?
1/2″ (12.7mm)
Will this work good with sliding windows? both sides of the window slide.
If both sides of the window slide from the outside edge, then you would need one lock placed vertically on the top corner of each side.
Does this lock a wood closet 2 sliding door ?
It could if you are able to drill holes in the back door for the locking pins to insert. However, someone can remove the mounting screws. You must use a security one way screws to prevent this from happening.
Will this work on plastic door? And can this be installed on the bottom of the door?
It is suitable for most types of doors. As long as it is installed correctly. It can be installed along the profile edge of the patio door bottom.

Excellent product, very useful!!
Works great with multiple mounting options! I no longer have to put a tightly fitting bar in the track to fully lock a sliding door. I had a hard time installing any screw to tap into the thin metal door frame, keep this in mind but it’s doable. 2-pack makes it a nice value. Lock / keys are super smooth & you barely notice them, looks great!

Great for Sliding Doo
Works great for my sliding glass door. I put 2 brackets for the lock to go into on the same door. One for when the doggy door panel is in the door and one for when we go out of town and the door is fully closed. Locks work well and were easy to install.
Security!!
Loved leaving our windows open a bit while we were gone on vacation. We have decks almost all the way around and every shaded window has this on it. Absolutely fantastic! My security minded son is to be Thanked for this great idea! Beats my husband’s rod in the window idea!!!
We had to replace our old lock as the key had broken inside. The new one slotted in its place which was brilliant so we replaced both. It came the next day & well worth the money for two.
