This works WELL. Feels quite sturdy. It securely prevents the door opening without a ram. You might want to consider if you could put one at the top of the door as well. You might want to combine with other security devices. I didn’t use the alarm yet, but it seems a bit too quiet in the video. Just bear in mind that the gap it requires to fit under the door is probably a little bit more than a standard door. It fits mine, but mine has a larger gap and can be drafty.
Excellent security. Portable, easy to set up. Batteries supplied plus 2 extra…..tested…….loud alarm and strong (yanked but door wouldn’t budge)…..fitted under and tested on front fire door………i’ve pulled a Yale lock off accidently before but this stayed put. Best door safety available…….will sleep easy tonight.
5 days ago attempted burglary, came back twice, I looked for many options but this caught my eye, sturdy, simple and basic but affective, door definitely didn’t move and bonus came with 4 batteries, and alarmed, so hopefully a better night sleep awaits.
It is really very safe, the door does not open at all, the alarm works and although 2 batteries are used, they sent 4 batteries. Great seller, thank you. Fit perfect value for money
