Good widescreen monito
First impressions are good, this replaced a 8 year old 34″ Samsung monitor. The picture quality on the LG looks a bit better.
Shame there are no USB ports, however I knew this beforehand and isn’t a deal breaker.
Excellent ultrawide monitor that's transformed the way I work
I’ve been genuinely impressed with this monitor. The image quality is excellent, colours look great and it feels like a really well-built piece of kit.
One of the features that initially attracted me was the split-screen functionality, and it’s proved really useful. That said, once you get used to working on a screen this wide, you almost stop thinking about it because there’s simply so much space to work with.
I particularly like the almost borderless design. I’ve paired it with a second monitor in portrait orientation, and the minimal bezel means there’s very little interruption between the two screens.
I mounted mine on a dual monitor arm rather than using the supplied stand, which works perfectly for my setup. It’s also great to have DisplayPort alongside two HDMI inputs, making it easy to connect multiple devices.
Overall, it’s been an excellent purchase and one I’d happily recommend to anyone looking for an affordable ultrawide monitor for work or general use.
Excellent monitor. Perfect for work. Easy to set up and connect. The 2 input ports allow me to switch between work computer and personal computer with ease. Quality is great. Had to get another stand just so i can adjust the height.
A bit pricey, but seems well made. Display is very clear all round, no loss at the edges. Took a while to configure, need to download LG driver to get width of screen filled. Takes a while to fet used to the mouse cursor and which screen you are on. All in all pretty good.
Lovely monitor that just works. I use it alongside a 22″ monitor (which I use for video calls and screen sharing) and this 34″ for spreadsheets and having lots of documents open side by side. Lovely quality. I mount mine on a floating arm, has the standard mounting bracket on the back.
I am really happy to have this ultra-wide monitor. It really helps me see my trading charts. It gives me a full view of the chart. Even I can see two different companies’ charts at the same time with big views. I can say this is the best monitor for traders. Also, picture-by-picture helps me connect my PC and laptop at the same time. So far, it is one of my best large-screen monitors. And this price is unbelievable.
I bought this monitor to use for office work – email, documents, spreadsheets and presentations. I’m pleased with it, it does the job well and the curve is a nice touch, giving a slight wraparound feeling. I find the ultrawide format works well because I can split the screen in three for work video calls – centre screen for the video call, with space for documents and/or note writing on either side. It’s about the right size I think – I had a larger 42″ monitor before this but found it too big. The simple metal stand looks nice and is solid with minimal wobble.
