I’ve been using the Logitech Mobi Fold as a travel mouse alongside my usual desktop mouse, and it’s a very interesting product. The foldable design is clever and makes it incredibly portable. Folded flat, it takes up hardly any space in a laptop bag, backpack or even a jacket pocket, making it ideal for commuting, travelling or working away from the office.
Setup was straightforward once I got going, and the Bluetooth connection has been reliable across both Windows and macOS. The Easy Switch feature is particularly useful if you regularly move between multiple devices.
When unfolded, the mouse automatically powers on and is ready to use within seconds. The quiet clicks are excellent for working in shared spaces such as trains, airports, libraries or meeting rooms, and the touch scrolling works smoothly once you get used to it. Tracking is accurate and responsive, with more than enough precision for everyday productivity tasks.
The biggest strength of this mouse is portability. At just 80g, it’s lightweight and easy to carry everywhere. Battery life also appears excellent, and USB-C charging is a welcome addition.
That said, there is a compromise. While comfortable enough for short to medium sessions, it doesn’t replace a full-sized mouse for all day desk work. The unique folding shape takes a little time to adjust to, and users with larger hands may find it less comfortable than traditional ergonomic designs. When I’m back at my main desk, I still prefer a larger mouse for extended use.
Overall, Logitech has created something genuinely different. If you travel frequently, work from multiple locations, or want a mouse that takes up almost no space in your bag, the Mobi Fold is a smart and well made option. Just don’t expect it to completely replace a full sized desktop mouse for long working sessions.
A decent folding mouse for casual usage,a bit expensive, but it'd be good for laptop users.
An excellent folding mouse for travelling or work, but not as good for everyday usage.
This came,as usual for Logitech, very well boxed, and as that would make a nice gift.Inside were the mouse itself and instructions. That always annoys me if theres no USB charging cable, especially at this price!
This connects easily via bluetooth and cab be used with a tablet or phone as well as a laptop or pc.It feels a bit weird in the hand at first, but you soon get used to the curvature of it,and the fold idea is great as you can just slip it into a pocket or laptop carrying case with ease.
in use though,it works well with fairly precise cursor movements, and the touchscroll works a lot better than I expected, but the lack of side back/forward buttons takes a bit longer to get used to,though you can set different modes, button actions through the Logitech app,as well as other things like pointer speed.
To be honest,I’m not too sure i like this mouse since I am less a laptop user and more a desktop user, though saying that,if you are still using a laptop trackpad, this would be a far better option for you as its light and very portable, and does make it easier to move the cursor around, but thats maybe just me.I hate laptop trackpads!
My main issue with this is its expensive(most Logitech stuff is to me though)and a bit limited in its usage options.Fine for casual users but not for people who spend a lot of time on their laptop or desktop.it does have decent applications for use on a tablet though, but then again,so do tablet touchscreens.
Recommended but only if you really need a portable mouse to replace your trackpad.
Though the battery life is stunning!
I’ve been going to my local pub quite a lot to get work done, and I’ve found that I sometimes need a mouse to use with my tablet. That’s why I picked up the Logitech Mobi Fold mouse.
This mouse is excellent for portability. It folds neatly in half and is super lightweight, making it incredibly easy to carry around. If portability is your main priority, this is definitely one of the best options out there.
The design is really unique and it feels different from any other mouse I’ve used. It connects via Bluetooth and can pair with up to three different devices, which is really handy. The tracking is smooth with no jitter at all.
One clever feature is that it doesn’t have a traditional mouse wheel. Instead, the middle section acts like a trackpad you just slide your finger up and down to scroll. I was surprised how well it works.
Battery life has been excellent so far. There’s also no separate power button. The mouse turns itself on when you unfold it and turns off when you fold it back up. It even has a magnet inside, so when it’s folded, I can stick it to the side of my PC and always know exactly where it is.
There are a couple of downsides though. Because it’s completely flat, it can be tricky to find the left and right click buttons by feel. A small notch or curve on the buttons would make it much easier. Also, because it’s so light, it feels a bit strange to move around at first.
The hinge area uses a soft silicone material to allow it to fold. I’m a heavy mouse user at home and I actually wear down the plastic on my normal mice, so I’m a bit worried about how long that folding joint will last over time.
Despite those small issues, I’m really happy with it. For a portable folding mouse, it’s excellent.
I write this review having just purchased another travel mouse and owning a number of mice (I am a geek). Spoiler alert, I ditched the other mouse for this one.
First impressions are this design is superb – love it. it folds up to a small cube, in terms of a travel mouse there is simply no wasted space and I love it. When you travel a lot, space and weight are everything and this seems to have just found a superb balance of the two.
To use, simply open it up and you have a mouse, very similar to the Microsoft mouse. As a mouse it works really well, I tried this on a wooden and glass desk, no problems at all with tracking no tracking issues. Scroll works well, it’s well balanced and does everything I need.
The USB-C charging option is universal with most phones and devices, so you don’t need to carry anything extra.
A key point here is size, I have mice that are much better than this but they are twice the size, have a dongle, big battery or even a cable. The balance here of weight, size, folded size and USB-C charging just works so well.
I honestly cannot fault this and this has taken prime position in my tech travel kit – highly recommended!!
