good quality, strong but alarm is not loud
it is very good, strong device. I love it. It will make very hard to break in. Alarm is not loud. But I use loud 130 db window, door alarms and safety film on the glass. Should work well together.
Peace of mind door security
I bought the Patio Door Security Lock (High Security French Door Lock) to strengthen our back doors and it’s been a great addition. Installation was straightforward and the heavy-duty feel gives real peace of mind. Once fitted, the doors feel much more secure and solid. It’s made me feel a lot better about leaving the house or going to bed, and seems like a solid, reliable security upgrade overall.
I took a risk and bought 3 of these, not knowing if they would fit our doors. Supplied instructions state: “The distance between 2 handles needs to be 62mm to 178mm”. I couldn’t find this in the Amazon listing. Thankfully they fitted perfectly. They look okay, feel well made and most importantly, are easy to remove in an emergency. I have snap-proof locks on my doors, but these do add more peace of mind. The price is reasonable too. Money well spent.
Love it as I am a senior woman on my own. Easy to fit, no need to cut any spindles or do anything complicated. Makes me feel secure at night when I know my French doors are secure. Would recommend this article and this seller. Thank you.
