Mnogo konfiguracji w programie moe na pocztku troch przytoczy ale urzdzenie odwdziczy si bardzo dobr prac. Dwik jest czysty a w transmisji DMR to ju po prostu super. Korzystaem z nowej generacji T82 Extreme ale to bya poraka i szukaem czego innego. Retevis speni za to wszystkie moje oczekiwania !
Very good but instructions inadequate - not simple for those wanting to program the units
Haven’t tested the range but very pleased so far. I’m not computer illiterate but adding the software and navigating it was daunting. Initially thought I’d be sending them back given that the instructions are rubbish and the software confusing to those new to walkie talkies. But to be fair, once I consulted ChatGPT and googled several terms, it all fell into place and I’m confident I have set the pair up as I intended — and it didn’t take more than a few hours (including the learning curve). Once you figure it out, the software seems very stable, reliable, and fast. I read some reviews mentioned they needed to purchase the cable to connect and program them. I had one in the box and works perfectly. I like the size, shape, appearance, and ease of use once set up. I’ll come back and update on range, battery and anything else once I have more experience using them. For me, confidental communication is a priority and although some sources I have read warn that communications can be overheard, I feel very confident that it is most unlikely after setting up the encryption. I tested it and heard just garbbled noise on a unit without the very long, unique passkey inputed. That, and programming other variants to the channel, and taking into account the relatively short transmission range, I would be very surprised if the conversation was overheard. Quite impressive.

Ottime ricetrasmittenti pmr 446 con modulazione sia in FM che in digitale DMR. La modulazione digitale ottima se dovete operare in una zona con molti disturbi, ascolterete solo il vostro interlocutore nessun fruscio,disturbo o altro.
It’s a UK legal entry-level DMR that’s pockets-sized & ready to use (and licence-free) straight out of the box ! It’s preprogrammed with the 16 standard PMR frequencies. It’s set to DMR when you turn it on (TS1, CC1, TG123456 and radio ID1.) Press the side key underneath and you’ve got the same 16 frequencies on analogue ! Audio quality is excellent (TX in a noisy environment sounds like RX in a quiet room !) It is street-legal with a fixed antenna and a half-watt output but if you’re looking for ‘darkside PMR’ or want to use it alongside your UHF simple licenced business radios, then the free programming cable and downloadable free software (use P4 rather than P64) gives you 2W over 400-470 MHz along with a variety of digital encryption functions that will ensure complete security of your sensitive comms ! Insanely good value when you buy two. If you want to experience the advantages of DMR over analogue but don’t want to spend months learning how to program, then these are the radios for you.
Seems to work very well. My P64 twin pack came with the programming cable to allow me to use my PC to setup the encryption key for secure communication. Should be mentioned, as I was about to purchase one. It wasn’t difficult to do this, but I’ve worked in IT for 40 years! They look robust and well made. Not cheap plastic which will break. Sound quality is good, clear and easily understood.
When testing these licences free two way radios for our group, they exceeded my expectations.
They are small enough to fit in a pocket, but perform more like a larger radio. The range is excellent, considering they only output a watt of RF power, and they are compliant, having a fixed antenna, with the UK/EU PMR446 regulations. When they are on offer, they are fantastic value for money, and they are simple to use out of the box.
Would I recommend these? Yes, if you need short range two-way radio communications. If you’re expecting the range to cover over two miles you will need a higher power radio and a licence.
The Retevis P64 and P4 are the same radio. The only difference is the programming software. By downloading the P4 software from the Retevis website you can upgrade this radio to 2W and 400-470 MHz and activate advanced features such as repeater capability and TDMA direct mode which gives you 2 timeslots (or channels) per frequency in simplex mode.
Even in standard form as supplied with 0.5W and locked to 446 MHz this is a very capable compact DMR radio with good build quality and AES256 encryption.
