I ordered the set of 6 walkie talkies for assistance when running various scouting events. We do a lot of orienteering events and the like, often in more remote areas where the phone signal can be unreliable.
This product has proved to be excellent. The advantages over mobile phones are clear in terms of signal, but also for the fact that with these, you can install the ear piece, and don your woolly hat (or even helmet in the case of caving expeditions etc), and be able to hear clearly.
With this set of 6, we can have 3 teams of scouts with one set each, plus 3 leaders to communicate with. We are able to leave a distance between everyone, in order to foster individual responsibility, while maintaining a safe connection. In open areas we have achieved distances of at least 1.5km, with no loss of clarity.
The set is robust and comprehensive. There’s a lot included, but the sets store neatly in the charging dock. Battery life is excellent. We often run whole-day events and have ever had an issue with batteries.
The set is easy to use, and has also given us another thing to teach the scouts, and has also led on to other communication and electronic projects.
Excellent value for money. I have no hesitation in recommending this set.

Very well made, a chunky charging station and the clarity of the audio is excellent when in range*. 16 channels to use and it’s great they can be charged individually using USB C.
*Range is difficult to judge due to every environment being different. On open farmland or woods probably quite a far range into km’s, a dense urban environment not so much
The radios themselves are really robust and look like they’ll put up with a lot. The hidden display is nice and clear, showing the channel / battery charge detail. Both the charging station and on-battery USB C charging show green once fully charged.
Really good radios, easy to use and a comprehensive pack for larger groups of people. Great for mobile dead spots or as we are using them in rural locations when out with the dog and kids who go off for mini adventures.
