La station d'accueil parfaite pour mon setup hybride Mac/PC
Je l’utilise au bureau o nous partageons nos postes de travail entre utilisateurs de MacBook Pro et de PC Windows Dell. C’est un vrai bonheur : on branche l’unique cble USB-C et tout fonctionne instantanment. Mes deux crans 4K s’allument direct, le rseau cbl est super rapide avec le port 2.5 GbE, et l’ordinateur charge pleine vitesse grce aux 100W. C’est du matriel pro, robuste et fiable. Fini le casse-tte des installations de pilotes qui plantent chaque mise jour systme.
Valido per chi lavora con laptop o condivide la postazione di lavoro. Tante prese zero stress!
Docking station da scrivania, fornita unitamente a 2 cavi di alimentazione, una con spina europea l’altro con spina americana, trasformatore, cavo usb-c per monitor e ovviamente la stazione di collegamento. Per chi non sappia cosa sia la docking station un (passatemi il termine) connettore multiplo con funzione di riconoscimento automatico. Nello specifico potremo connettere sul retro un stampante, due monitor, l’hard disk, la connessione di rete il cavo audio mentre sul davanti collegheremo il nostro pc ed avremo ancora qualche porta libera. Collegandolo sar possibile, oltre ad utilizzare tutte le nostre periferiche, ricaricare il laptop. Molto interessante la gestione dei due monitor e della rete nel medesimo prodotto che riduce sensibilmente la quantit di cavi collegati al portatile, la connessione con riconoscimento automatico velocizza l’avvio delle nostre attivit lavorative e la ricarica incorporata riduce i nostri tempi di attesa dopo lunghe ore lavorative. Scocca solida e ben realizzata, considerando le funzioni le dimensioni risultano ridotte e la forma risulta compatta e facile da gestire, i cavi forniti consentono di poter operare anche fuori sede. Due piccoli accorgimenti sono dovuti, per l’installazione si consiglia di fare in modo che i cavi non tendano a trascinare via la stazione nonostante i gommini abbiano una buona presa, come secondo accorgimento scegliere un punto che consenta una buona dissipazione del calore in quanto durante l’uso intenso tender a riscaldarsi. Per chi invece ha la possibilit potr usare le predisposizioni sul retro per avvitarlo al supporto e tenerlo ben fermo sulla postazione di lavoro. In sintesi un buon prodotto per chi usa i laptop per lavoro o condivide la postazione di lavoro consentendo di tenere tutto in ordine e pronto per l’uso con un notevole risparmio di tempo.
The dock feels quite lightweight and seemingly well-built, but not necessarily ‘solid’. It has plenty of ports and they are all good fits, not loose nor need any force to fit cables in. I’ve been using it for a few weeks with my Dell laptop and I have had no issues; everything connects well and seems reliable. I think it’s reasonable value at 145 for a basic but solid dock option.

One dock to rule them all!
I picked this up to replace my existing laptop dock and it’s working well so far! My home office setup uses a KVM switch so I can share a monitor, keyboard and mouse between my work laptop and personal PC, and this keeps everything connected through a single box rather than having cables running all over the desk.
Setup was simple. I plugged it in, connected my devices and everything worked without needing extra software. It provides plenty of ports, charges the laptop at the same time, and the metal casing looks smart on the desk.
For my needs it’s probably overkill if I’m honest! A lot of the advanced features are aimed more at business and IT environments than a typical home office. That said, if you want a well-made dock with lots of connectivity and room to expand your setup, it’s a good option.

Lo mejor de todo es que te levanta dos monitores externos a la vez con una fluidez tremenda mientras le mete una carga rpida de 100W a tu ordenador, lo que te permite olvidarte de sacar tu cargador de la mochila y mantiene tu mesa completamente despejada de cables molestos. Es comodsimo porque incluye un puerto Ethernet de 2,5 GbE que vuela a la hora de descargar archivos pesados o mantener videollamadas sin cortes, adems de varios puertos USB-C y USB-A para conectar discos duros o perifricos con total estabilidad y sin cadas de seal. El aparato se nota robusto, disipa el calor de maravilla sin quemar al tacto despus de llevar horas rindiendo a tope y su diseo compacto se integra perfectamente debajo de cualquier pantalla sin estorbar. Al final, es una opcin premium ideal si buscas un rendimiento profesional estable, velocidad de red real y la comodidad de conectar todo tu ecosistema de pantallas con un solo gesto.

It’s easy to set up. The dock doesn’t require any additional software or drivers; it simply plug-and-play.
The build quality is good as always from StartTech. Once positioned, the device feels robust and stays put. With its logical port layout and design it is practical and makes connecting peripherals easy. A more secure connection is made possible by the accompanying screw-lock USB-C cable, which also helps avoid unintentional disconnections.
In use I found the performance is consistent. The dock supports dual monitor setups reliably and maintains stable connections for peripherals without dropouts. Once connected, it operates without requiring further setup. Power delivery is sufficient to keep a laptop charged while running displays and other connected devices.

Con un solo cavo da connettere al portatile si possono avere una moltitudine di funzioni tra cui:

Un dispositivo essenziale per chi con il PC ci lavora, avrete l’ affidabilit e il supporto di un marchio storico.
L’unico difetto che ho trovato il ronzio che emette l’alimentatore quando in funzione, ci non permette di usarlo in camera da letto a meno che non gli venga staccata l’alimentazione. Anche se specificato nella descrizione, ricordo che nella confezione non presente la staffa per fissarlo alla parete.

This dock works straight out of the box without needing any tricky software setup. It manages my two monitors perfectly and the charging speed is fast enough for my work laptop. I noticed the unit gets quite warm after a full day of use but that is expected with this tech. The build quality feels sturdy and it stays put on my desk without sliding around. It is RELIABLE and handles all my extra cables without any connection drops. My only slight complaint is the short host cable provided in the box!
High Quality
Absolutely fantastic when paired with my Dell laptop. Charges it at it’s full speed, connected to 2 1440p displays and also have my ethernet running through it. Very well-built and weighty docking station, looks and feels extremely high quality. Although may seem expensive, for the quality, I would say it’s worth the money.

an impressively useful bit of ki
I’ve got this as a home user to set up all my monitors, not as a business user, but I can really appreciate this from both standpoints. This is really easy to set up. Plug and play. end of. It works with no drivers and nothing installed, which is ideal. It just works. The USB C cable with screws is an excellent addition. It’s something i’ve always thought was missing, and it’s something that we lost when we moved away from standards like VGA. If you break the included cable, i’ve struggled to find anywhere where you can get a replacement, but it will still work with a no-screw cable, it just won’t be as secure. Plus, it’s significantly less likely to break in the first place. Honestly, fantastic addition – i wish more docks did this. Mounting on a VESA was easy. Plugging everything in was easy. It’s solid, well built, clearly labled, lighter than you would expect. For every laptop I own, the limiting factor is the USB-C out on the laptop, not the dock itself. This exceeds the power of anything I can throw at it. It charges fast, it doesn’t get too hot. I’ve got a free EU charging cable included if ever I randomly need that or move house. Honestly I’m struggling to find fault. This just does what i need it to. it sits unobtrusively on the desk and i’ve set it up once and not touched it since. I can’t find anything to complain about. Great bit of kit honestly, i’d fully recommend it and it’s earned its fairly hefty price tag.
