I mostly got this to install in my outbuilding which didn’t have any alarm system at all but contains a lot of expensive gear. This is definitely an entry level device and although not perfect is still better than having nothing at all. It’s pretty easy to install, you can opt to screw the little door sensors on or use sticky pads (I went for sticky pads)
Simply turn the “siren” on, press the lock button on the remote and if someone opens the door the siren will sound. You can then press the unlock button on the remote to disable it. It seems to have very good range as I took the siren in my house and it still went off when I got someone else to open the door!
It does come with optical sensors that detect movement, but honestly I didn’t think they were that great. They do work, but you I had to get pretty close for them to go off!
Now, the siren isn’t very loud, I can hear it in the shed but with the door closed I can barely hear it. However, I suspect the main goal of this is to be used as a deterrent. Studies show that 81% of burglars usually flee the second they hear an alarm going, another 6% usually grab the nearest thing to them and then leg it! If you were a burglar and heard this siren wailing, would you really wanna hang around to see if it called the Police or notified the home owner? I sure as hell wouldn’t!
Good value
This 9-piece wireless alarm kit has been really reassuring to set up at home. Everything arrived neatly labelled, and installation was straightforward — no complicated wiring, just stick the sensors where you need them and pair them with the base unit via the app.
The mobile alerts work reliably, so I get a ping straight away if a door or window is opened when the system is armed. The motion detectors are pretty responsive too, without being overly sensitive to every little thing. The remotes are a handy extra for arming or disarming without having to get your phone every time.
Best bit: no monthly fee, which makes it much easier to actually use regularly without worrying about ongoing costs.
Tiny note: if your WiFi signal is a bit weak in parts of the house, place the base unit somewhere central so all the sensors can communicate well.
Easy to use, a little quiet.
Hapippofa Smart Home Security System is super easy to install. It really doesn’t need any knowledge other than how to use a drill to make holes.
Alarms sensors are not massive which is nice as I didn’t want them to be overly visible. I installed them around our house and for a medium sized 3 bed semi this is plenty.
First of all I do like the app connectivity and Sensor IR is pretty sensitive… in fact a little bit too sensitive due to having animals. One of our cats likes to sit on the windowsill and our dogs often sit by the window on the neighbourhood watch so that was a bit of an issue. First time the alarm went off was due to the cat and another time due to our nosy French Bulldog. Reducing sensitivity and pointing the sensor away did help a fair bit but it still does pick up cat and dog movement so this is something to keep in mind.
Pretty straight forward in the way it functions, app was easy to set up but we do have plenty of app based devices so it wasn’t a novelty to use.
One thing I would say the Alarm Siren itself isn’t overly loud… now in our case due to my cat constantly setting it off it turned out to be a blessing especially in the middle of the night but once again this is something to keep in mind.
Overall decent product for the price. Very simple but functional.

Would I recommend? YES
Suitable as a gift? YES
My comments and opinion: Great entry level bundle. Fitted without any hitches at my parents house. Seems slightly higher price for the small box than I expected but I guess the technology allows it to be compact. Stragihtforward to use. Pleased.
This is a great intruder alarm for a great price.
Simple setup pairing devices and a good walk test function to ensure devices are working.
Pairs even have a rear tamper switch to prevent removal.
Basic security with a one press set and unset remote function with no pin. So designed to keep the remotes on your person at all times.
Motion detection works well. Tested several t and it always detected my movement.
Four door contacts is really useful. I was able to secure front and back doors plus two internal doors should someone try to move through my house.
A great alarm that works perfectly.
Smart life app also allows control from your phone.
The Hapippofa 9-piece wireless alarm kit looks like a winner for anyone wanting hassle-free home security. With four door/window sensors, two motion detectors, and two remotes, it’s got solid coverage for a typical home, garage, or even an RV. The standout feature for me is the plug-and-play setup—no wires, no drilling, and no technical headaches. Just mount with adhesive or screws and connect via 2.4GHz WiFi.
The mobile app integration is a huge plus. Real-time alerts and remote control through the Smart Life app mean I can monitor everything from my phone, wherever I am. The 130 dB siren adds serious deterrence, and the system supports expansion with up to 24 sensors—great for future-proofing.
No monthly fees, no contracts, and a clean, modern design that blends into any space. Looking forward to fitting this and finally having peace of mind without the complexity.
Verdict:
Easy to install, well-equipped, and budget-friendly. Ideal for anyone wanting smart security without the subscription trap. Can’t wait to see it in action.
