    Its strong
This is a real, “no messing” car anti-theft device.

Its lightweight, but sure doesn’t look it when attached.

Very simple to fit. You can do it while still sat in the driving seat.

Pass the cable through the steering wheel & clip the lock into the seat belt anchor.

It really is that easy & done in seconds!

To remove, again sit in the drivers seat, use the security key to unlock the device.

Unfold it all from the steering wheel & that’s it…..Easy.

Store the lock wherever you want, I just slide it under the passenger seat.

I am so impressed with this device, it is so easy to use.

Seems to fit most cars to the makers claim. I guess would work on most vans too?

There is a heavy duty fabric over the steel cable that doesn’t damage the steering wheel.

Also, there are 3 keys with the unit, so you would be unlucky to lose them all?

The cable is strong steel cable, with the metal lock that attaches to the seat belt anchor.

Together, they make this anti-theft device look a real visual deterrent.

A thief would have a real problem tackling this.

It has a very realistic price tag of a tad off 20. A bargain for the hassle it would save you.

    I fully recommend it.

Really good value but could be brighte
The steering wheel lock states easy to install, small and light, and I can confirm that it’s easy to lock, unlock.

It is definitely small and light and is quite neat compared to other steering wheel locks. My previous lock was very big, very heavy, cumbersome to take on and off and could have caused serious damage if the car was in an accident whilst driving, due to its size and weight. It could have been flung into a passenger in the car.

It’s made of tempered steel and is strong and durable, it definitely feels robust. It says it fits all vehicles and is easy to use, and certainly the length would suggest that it is.

The only caveat is that it isn’t as striking visually or bright like some other locks, so it may be less of a visual detterent. The box does state there are other colours available but these were unavailable for me to purchase.

I’d like to end this review by saying my son has a steering wheel lock that cost more than double this, and while his lock is a bit more heavy duty this one is certainly adequate enough and great value.

    A deterrent to the opportunis
Steering wheel locks usually comprise a metal bar that is pushed through the steering wheel and clamped up, or a circular disc that encases the steering wheel and is clamped up. This steering wheel lock is different is that is a metal cable that is looped through the steering wheel that is attached to a lock that is inserted in the seat belt clip. This design is novel and something I haven’t seen before.

Securing the lock involves looping it around the bottom of the steering wheel, passing through the locking mechanism and attaching it to the safety belt clip, where it locks in place. The cable is around 72cm long, and whilst this may seem a lot the length decreases to around 35cm once doubled over. This cable just about long enough for my Vitara (a small SUV) and whilst I think it will be fine for most family sized cars it is worth measuring the distance from the bottom of the steering wheel to the seat belt clip to make sure.

Attaching the lock takes less than 2 minutes, which is pretty cool, and once you removed it can be folded up and stored in the door pocket, the glove box or in the pocket behind the drivers seat.

The product page sells the versatility of this lock stating it can be used for vehicles of all types, including trucks and RVs. Whilst I don’t have anything as grand as an RV I do have a small 6m coach built motorhome and the cable is not long enough. I have also tried this lock in a well known Nissan pickup and, once again, the cable is too short.

The cable used in this lock is thick and plastic coated providing more security and protection. The locking mechanism is predominantly plastic and the vulnerable part. Whilst cutting through the cable may require some heavy duty tools breaking up a bit of plastic doesn’t require much effort. It will, however, deter the opportunist thief.

If someone wants your vehicle this lock is not going to stop them, but then on lock will stop them. What this lock will do, however, act as a deterrent to petty criminals and thieves and this is where this lock shine , and consequently it is recommended.

    Bulky but useful
You can have too much security and whilst modern cars have immobilisers and sensors a good visual deterent never hurts. It signals you take things seriously and hopefully the thief will look in the car next to yours as easier.

Comes in cardboard box with the unit and 2 keys.

The overall impression is of a solid piece of kit.

Plastics feels solid. The cable look thick and would need bolt cutters.

Installation is simple. Loop around the steering wheel and lock into the seatbelt.

The cable has a material cover over it to prevent scratching but I would think a bright obvious colour would be better than the black supplied to better announce its presence.

It is a bit stiff and I think it prevents it being easy to use if you are nipping into shops for instance, you’re not going to store it in the glovebox for sure its too big and stiff and I think most people will use it when leaving the car for extended periods or overnight on the drive.

Great that you get three keys, especially if more than one person drives the ca
This is a great sturdy piece of kit, and much more convenient than the steering wheel locks you see cars have – Just where do people put them when driving.

It comes with three keys, so I’ve placed one in a special place just in case I lose one of the others

I had to try and get my head around how it looped through, but once I’d done that it was fine… and i can tuck it under my passenger seat when driving.

I guess the only issue is it’s not a visual deterrent from a distance, but hopefully the thief would look in the window first before smashing a window… but then do they even need to do that anymore, don’t they just clone your frequency, hence why this is such a good piece of kit? Also…it has a nice bright orange lining on parts of the material so it should show up in the dark when looking in.

    Excellent Extra Protectio
I got this for my car – to add some extra protection.

The steering lock is a good length, and is easy to use on the steering wheel. It locks securely, and is very flexible, which I prefer to the most solid ones. The lock works with the keys very smoothly. Excellent extra protection, and excellent value for money.

Great Value and Easy to Use
I’m really pleased with this steering wheel lock. It feels sturdy, well made, and gives me extra peace of mind when leaving my car parked. It’s quick and easy to fit, and the flexible cable makes it simple to lock in place without any hassle.

For the price, it’s excellent value for money. It comes with three keys, feels solid, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. If you’re looking for an affordable way to add an extra layer of security to your vehicle, I’d definitely recommend this. A great purchase!

    Solid Visible Car Security Device
Hopefully no one will ever try to cut through this on my car, but it feels really solid and well worth the money. The bright colour makes it highly visible, which should put off potential thieves and encourage them to move on. It takes just a few seconds to fit and does a great job of preventing the steering wheel from being turned. Overall, it feels like a reliable and reassuring security device.
