They are 2 in 1 Multi-Functional, Max 17″ Length, Small and Light-Weight, 20S Installation. It Fits Most Vehicles, SUV, Golf Cart Security.

You get two in the box and they easily fit my car. Came with good instructions on the box and I had my car secured in no time. Gave the other lock to my grandson for his car and he’s delighted with it.

It is so easy to use.

    Good value for money.

    Happy to recommend.

A Clever Visual Deterrent That's Quick and Easy to Fi
This steering wheel lock takes a slightly different approach to vehicle security by combining the steering wheel with the seat belt, creating a simple but effective visual deterrent. While no physical security device can guarantee a vehicle won’t be stolen, anything that makes a thief think twice is worth considering.

The locks are compact and lightweight, making them easy to store in the car when not in use. Installation only takes a few seconds. Simply attach one end to the steering wheel, clip the other into the seat belt buckle and lock it in place. Removing it is just as quick with the supplied key.

The bright red and grey finish is highly visible through the windscreen, which is arguably one of its biggest strengths. A thief is far more likely to move on to an easier target if they can immediately see an additional security device fitted.

The locking mechanism feels solid, and the cable has a protective coating to help avoid marking the steering wheel or interior trim. The two-lock pack is useful if you have more than one vehicle or simply want a spare.

Although it won’t replace a heavy-duty steering wheel bar or other high-security device, it’s an excellent additional layer of security that’s far more convenient to fit for everyday use. I could also see it being useful as a reminder not to forget valuables left on the passenger seat while the seat belt is clipped in.

Overall, this is a well-made, practical security accessory that’s quick to install and provides an effective visual deterrent. Used alongside sensible parking and your vehicle’s existing security systems, it’s a worthwhile extra level of protection.

Golden Review Award: 1 From Our UsersGood quality extra layer of deterre
This 2 pack of TANYO brand steering locks arrived and was better than I had expected. It fitted my small mini Cooper s and my sisters CLA merc perfectly. The metal steel cable core was relatively thick and covered in a smoky clear plastic tube. I found it very easy to loop around the steering wheel and clicks into these seat belt mechanism nice and easy. To release it a twist of the key and the unlocks effortlessly. I like the red cover because when a potential thief shines his flashlight through the window That red will show and be visible. The black part that clips over and surrounds the seat belt mechanism is made of tough ABS plastics. This is exactly what I want something not too big but when taken off can be easily stored on a side. I think this product’s represents excellent value for money. It sure does look very durable and not so easy to destroy and like others have said it is just an extra layer of deterrent which can save the day.

Excellent Extra Security for My Car Easy to Use and Great Peace of Mind
I got this TANYO steering wheel lock as an extra layer of security for my car, and I’m really pleased with it. One of the reasons I purchased it was to help improve my vehicle’s security, which may also help when it comes to insurance, and it certainly gives me much greater peace of mind whenever I leave my car parked.

The lock is compact and lightweight, so it’s easy to keep in the car without taking up much room. Despite its size, it feels solid and well made. Installation is genuinely quick — it only takes a few seconds to fit and remove once you’ve done it a couple of times, making it practical for everyday use rather than something that feels like a hassle.

I like the 2-in-1 design, and the included seat belt lock is a useful extra. The steering wheel lock fits securely and is highly visible, which should act as a strong visual deterrent to anyone thinking about targeting the vehicle. Sometimes making a car look more difficult to steal is enough to encourage a thief to move on.

The build quality is better than I expected for the price. It feels durable, the locking mechanism works smoothly, and the keys operate without sticking. It also fits my vehicle well, and it’s reassuring to know it’s designed to work with most cars, SUVs, and similar vehicles.

this is a well-designed, easy-to-use security device that offers excellent value for money. If you’re looking for an affordable way to add another level of protection to your vehicle, this is definitely worth considering. I’m very happy with my purchase and would happily recommend it to anyone wanting extra security and peace of mind.

Great peace of mind for an older car Great Value two Pack!
I drive quite an old car and have relied on a seatbelt-to-steering-wheel lock for a while to keep it secure when staying away from home overnight. I recently lost my main car keyring, which had one of my two original lock keys on it. Not wanting to risk losing the single remaining key and getting the lock stuck on my steering wheel, I ordered this TANYO 2-Pack as an immediate replacement, and they have been ideal.

The design is brilliant and very straightforward to use. It consists of a loop of thick, rubber-covered reinforced steel cable that loops through your steering wheel, and a heavy locking head that clips into and completely covers your seatbelt socket. It locks securely using a high-security B-level cylinder lock, and getting 3 keys included with the set is a massive relief in case one ever gets misplaced.

The pack comes with two locks: one covered in a bright yellow nylon sheath, which acts as a great visual warning to keep thieves away, and a second one in a more discreet black finish. Compared to the heavy, bulky metal bar locks I’ve tried in the past, these are lightweight, quick to put on, and easy to tuck under the seat or in a door pocket when driving. The price for a 2-pack is very reasonable, and they give me good confidence whenever I have to leave my car parked overnight. Highly recommended!

Good design and excellent value for money
This is much easier to use than the traditional steering locks because it’s smaller and lighter. We tried it in our Mini and it fits fine with plenty of slack without having to adjust the seat or steering wheel. We are going to use it when leaving the car in an airport car park to have an added level of security.

The device is easy to keep in the glovebox or boot given its size. Ours came in a pack of two in black and yellow and black. I preferred the yellow as it’s more visual so more of a deterrent. I don’t think this lock would stop a determined thief as the chain isn’t that thick and could still be cut. However it would put off people who generally look for easier targets. For the time it takes to put the device on, it’s worth having this layer of security just in case.

The device comes with three keys which seem quite durable and good quality. However I did have a panic when the key didn’t fit but I realised the top of the lock spins round so you have to make sure it’s lined up with the key hole before use.

As a deterrent i think its good value for money but don’t think its sturdy enough to be a full security device on its own.

    Extra layer of anti-theft protection!
Keeping my car in my possession it’s important to me. I have spent many hours of my life working on my car and contains my blood sweat and tears as they say. Having a vehicle alarm I feel isn’t enough so when I seen these car steering wheel locks, I had to pick them up. I have multiple cars so I’m happy I am able to put these in my cars. The quality of the car steering wheel locks feels durable and strong. Although it doesn’t guarantee that your vehicle won’t be stolen, it’s an extra measure to hopefully prevent and hinder prying eyes from attempting to steal your vehicle. This car steering wheel lock is simple to use as you just insert the cable into a slot onto your steering wheel and loop around the seat belt lock and insert into your vehicles seat belt buckle. To release, simply insert the key, turn the key while pushing down and the lock will release. 3 keys are supplied with each lock so that’s nice to have extra copies just incase. Overall, I am always for adding extra layers of anti-theft items to my vehicle.

    Two-pack
This two pack of car steering locks is a great buy for peace of mind knowing that you won’t walk out to your car missing. For construction, the part that goes through your steering wheel is braided metal coated with plastic. It appears sturdy and not fast to cut. The part that goes into your seatbelt is made of high quality nylon plastic and covers the buckle receiver completely. It has a large button on the top that when you unlock it, can be pushed and a heavy duty pin inside pushes your seatbelt button to unlatch it. Pretty simple construction.

The package does come with instructions but I found it to be intuitive how to install it. Installation only takes a minute so it’s not as inconvenient as some I have owned in the past. Each lock comes with 3 sets of high quality keys. They are a similar quality of the key that came with my Honda Crosstour. Since Honda’s are becoming a vehicle of interest for stealing, I thought this would help detour thoughts in a parking lot. This would also work with anything that has a typical seatbelt receiver such as an ATV, golf cart and others. I’m glad I ordered this two-pack.

Well built steering wheel locks. Includes 3 keys each.
These are good steering wheel locks that work kind of like a bicycle cable lock that goes around the steering wheel and then locks into the seatbelt clip with a secure key. They won’t make your car theft proof but they will deter most amateur car thieves and slow down experienced car thieves. This style of steering wheel lock could be defeated with an angle grinder, heavy duty bolt cutters, or a special designed shim that would slide between the lock and seat belt clip. I like these a lot because they’re less bulky than traditional club style steering wheel locks and don’t really stand out from afar. They are a great value and I recommend them highly.

Nice Set of Basic Deterrence Steering Wheel Locks
This is a quality lock for the price, getting two is nice to have.

The shroud that covers the seatbelt connector is plastic, not too secure but it does the basic job of aligning the tab to the seatbelt holder and protecting the seatbelt release button..

The lock cylinder is metal, likely cheap pot metal at this price point but it’s metal.

Getting three keys for the lock is nice if you have multiple people who need a key.

Its a fancy cut key so it won’t be easy to pick the lock.

I wish both locks were bright colors on the protective sleeve because that is part of the deterrence.

These type of locks are easier to store in your car when you’re not using them than say a rigid metal bar club type.

These locks aren’t as secure as a rigid bar type as those force thieves to have a bolt cutter to cut your steering wheel. But this style of flexible lock is better at restricting the movement of the steering wheel, so it’s a trade off for you to decide what you want.

Let’s be real though…….a simple hand cable cutter will go thru this cable. It’s just like a cheap bicycle cable lock with a clear plastic coated sleeve over it. So if the thief shows up with a hand cutter or any electric grinder/cutter or bolt cutters this lock is off the wheel in five seconds. But they have to break into the window or door and have a tool. It will deter those looking for an easier target. So for that reason, it’s worth it for the affordable current price of $20 each.

Now my biggest fear with these locks – and you will hear some people complain that the lock froze and they couldn’t get removed from their own car. That is a possibility for sure. This model has a nice thick tab that engages with the seatbelt lock. The key cylinder, when unlocked pushes down pretty reliably, so after playing with it for awhile, I feel confident the lock will unlock and disengage for me. But that is def a concern and you should check the lock frequently because it would suck to get locked out of your own car.

Innovative, but light weightplus how NOT to install.
    PROS:

A new design for a physical lock for vehicles after many years of bar-type steering wheel locks being the only real option.

To defeat this lock may require different tools than a car thief may be likely to have on hand since it’s an uncommon design.

Much more portable and convenient than a bar-type steering wheel lock.

    Faster to install and uninstall.

Visible from outside of the vehicle, making it a deterrent.

Easy to stash in the car when not in use. Doesn’t rattle the way bar-type locks do, can be folded up, doesn’t weigh much.

In some ways it’s more effective than a steel bar type steering wheel lock. It can be possible to still drive the car with many bar-type locks if the length of the bar isn’t sufficiently long compared to the space in the vehicle around the steering wheel.

This lock more effectively prevents steering wheel movement than a bar-type lock, and in also preventing a connection with the seatbelt, it can prevent the vehicle from being turned on in many—but not all–modern vehicles.

Because it is less heavy, and doesn’t need to be installed super-tight on the steering wheel, it is way less likely to create permanent indentations, scratches or other damage to the padded leather/heated steering wheels on many expensive cars.

    CONS:

The locking mechanism and guard over the seatbelt latch are both plastic—not very durable, not all that secure, possibly too easy to break apart with common hand tools. (The latch itself and some of the internal hardware are metal, so the latching mechanism may offer more security than it appears.)

The cable between the steering wheel and the seat belt latch would be reasonably easy to cut compared to the steel bars on a bar-type steering wheel lock.

The level of security of this type of lock appears to be minimal—the design itself is excellent; but executing it with plastic components undermines much of its security value. The lock and the plastic shield around the seat belt latch should both be metal. And the cable might better be heavier gauge.

WHAT ABOUT THE REVIEWER REPORTS OF LATCHING IT ON A SEAT BELT AND NOT BEING ABLE TO REMOVE IT?

If you look at the attached picture of the lock latch and the seat belt latch it’s easy to see how this lock works.

There is a metal latch that fits into the mechanism on the seat belt latch in the car. There’s also a thin plastic shield around the periphery of the lock latch that prevents anyone from being able to reach and push down the release mechanism on the seat belt latch when the lock is installed.

When you insert the key into the lock, it unlocks a pin (shown in the photo just beneath the silver latch) that pushes down the orange spring-loaded seat belt release. And that releases the lock.

CRITICAL NOTE: You MUST install the lock in an orientation that aligns the release pin on the lock with the orange release button on the seatbelt latch.

Since the thin plastic shield on the lock is wider than the seat belt latch, it may be possible to install the lock backwards, meaning that the lock pin won’t be orientated to be able to connect with the orange seat belt release mechanism. And then you won’t be able to remove the lock once it’s installed.

The manufacturer doesn’t mention this risk, but a ton of reviewers of this type of lock design have said that once they connected it to their seat belt latch they were unable to remove it.

Obviously I decided NOT to try to install it incorrectly and risk damaging my vehicle’s seat belt, but an incorrect install does seem possible if the user doesn’t first examine how the lock needs to work.

So MAKE SURE that you take a look at how this lock works before installing it on your vehicle.
