Easy to install and effective
We installed this device on a top floor window with typical UPVC construction. The restrictor can be attached to the existing handle or at a different point using the separate receiver supplied in the kit. That would potentially allow the window to be opened slightly further if required.
The concealed bracket is very easy to install and the whole job can be done in 2 minutes. The kit is supplied with 4 self tapping screws which have a Philips 2 head, not a Pozidriv head. The screws work quickly and well.
I found the push button to release the cable was stiff. It may reduce with use but that does make the particular kit I received less than perfect. Otherwise this is an excellent kit and I will be ordering more for the other windows.
